Me and my husband have been really trying to get pregnate for a year and a half and I'm on clomid fertility meds and I have been doing a lot of reading on which day is the best to have sex and concieve and I read that when your cervical fluid looks like eggwhite then you are ovulating. If I had sex that day then does that mean that I more than likely concieved?

Just to let everyone know for more information we had sex the day before ovulation and 3 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation. How are my chances do you think after you have this information?

Nothing is ever concrete in the world of TTC but, you'll have a good chance when you time things at time of ovulation. If his sperm are ok then you can have sex a few days before and they will live inside you for days. I know I've read that it's better to have the sperm 'waiting' for the egg to drop. So, before ovulation is great, but, for added security, sex on day of ovulation is great too. It can't hurt.

You have a better chance, but it all depends how how strong his swimmers are.
You can buy an ovulation kit at the pharmacy that will tell you exactly when it's happening. Since sperm can last 3 days, it's best to start having sex a couple of days before you ovulate and frequently though the ovulation period.

No honey I'm sorry to tell you but there is no sure fire method or day that you can have sex and get pregnant. The only thing I can say is to not stress about it, stress causes it to be more difficult to get pregnant. Try having sex when you're on your period, the hormones are higher then. Have fun with it and don't schedule sex and I'm sure it'll happen. Good luck to you!

You should have sex several days before you ovulate as well as the day you ovulate and the day after. Good luck.

It's likey but not always a guarantee. However is in those 5 days of ovulation you are MOST likely to get preggers so keep at it and good luck to you.

Maybe but dont make it obvious, have a romantic dinner & than wild sweaty pig sex. Im sure you will come out pregnate. If not try seeing a doctor. Sometimes people try too hard.

You have a higher chance of getting pregnant when you're ovulating. However, there are no guarantees in anything.

They say that the early to ovualtion you are and having sex the better off you are. The fact that you had earlier then the day of ovualation you are better off at gettting pregnant . However, Its possible that it happened the day of ovuation. I hope it works out for you.

Sounds like there is a VERY good chance for you but there are lots of factors - your husbands quantity and quality of sperm being very important in the equation as well.

There are NO guarantees. We've been trying around my time of ovulation since last December, and nothing yet. :(
