You have to wait for a few days after your period was supposed to start to get the most accurate reading. If you take the test now, you won't get a correct result.

I would suggest waiting around two weeks after your period was suppose to start. This will allow more of the HcG hormone to produce. I do know there are pregnany test that you can use that will pick up the HcG hormone as soon as five days before your period, but I suggest waiting. This will save you money in the long run. I know from previous experiences that you can spend alot of money taking 10 test a month. LOL Be patient. When the time is right, it will happen! Good luck!

Read the directions on the home pregnancy test - even the first response ones say that they are only 50% accurate 5 days before your missed period. I'd wait until a few days after your missed period to test. I know how anxious you are to find out now, but you really do have to wait.

I'm afraid you have to wait about that long-not waiting will just be a waste of money...unless you get a bloddtest from your doctor. A bloodtest will be accurate about 9-11 days after ovulation and a HPT will be accurate 12-14 days after ovulation. My HPT was positive 7 days before my missed period, BUT I ovulate on the 11th day instead of 14 or so like most women.

Taking birth controle for that long then just going off of it! Most likely it is still in your system so I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet. But you can take a PG test as soon as 5 days before you period with a first response PG test

You certainly don't think that testing two days after intercourse/ovulation would be the right time to take a pregnancy test, do you? You should test no earlier than on the first day of your missed/expected period.

You should wait until you miss your period. If you are meant to get pregnant you will. Knowing sooner does not really make a difference.. Good Luck.
