before i go back and take another blood test if i dont believe the first one. it just doesnt feel right to me. should i wait till my next period is missed or should i test with a urine test in a cupple of days?

im 5 days late from my actual date but had an un-normal light short period for 3 and it was 4 days early. thats why im still wondering if i am

i would wait until you miss another period and then call the doctor back. in the mean time make sure you take a daily vitamin just in case you are pregnant.

Blood tests are the most accurate pregnancy test. Urine tests are the first thing to use..if you still feel your pregnant but failed that then blood tests are the next thing. I'd say wait it out till your next period. 2 missed periods is a sure bet. Look into other reasons for missed periods and see if you have the symptoms..such as stress, excessive eating loss/gain, etc. Just be sure to stay way from drinking, smoking and such until you know for sure just in case.
How long since you've missed your period? If you'd feel better go for an at home test to save money and ease the mind.

If you took a blood test, those results are pretty accurate. They are also very expensive and it's doubtful that your insurance will pay for another one without some sort of reason (like you missed your period again). If you want to take another urine test, that would be on your dime, knock yourself out. But it's just going to confirm the blood test results.

im on the same boat as you are. i had a blood test and had a 1.5 hcg but i believe that i am pregnant. My idea was to wait till my next missed period to see. For you maybe you should wait till your next period or you should wait another week and test again.

don't have to wait if you don't like the results of the first one. First test results have nothing to do with the second one.
