Do you have to have " egg white" CM in order to conceive or doesn't it matter..? Having any CM can u still get pregnant no matter what texture it is ..? serious question

First of, I suggest getting the book "taking charge of your fertility" by toni weschler in order to understand how this work.
It is not the CM that dictates whether you will get pregnant or not. It is what the CM indicates that is important. In a woman's cycle, cervical mucus changes from lotiony white, to something off white or clear that is stretchy. After that it turns back to creamy whitish fluid again. What the stretchy mucus indicates is that you are getting ready to ovulate, or already ovulating or a day after ovulation. Getting pregnant means having sex on the day of your ovulation and knowing when you are ovulating based on your cervical mucus will allow you great chance that you will have sex around your ovulation.

It is said that the egg whit CM is on the day of ovulation. But you can get pregnant by having sperm from the day before, so I don't think it is absolutely nessecary. It is just supposed to tell you what day you ovulate.

Here is some websites that can tell you when you will ovulate. I take the day it say and have sex the three days before on the date and the three days after. This pretty much covers the it may come early or late factor. (I concieved on the first cycle)

glad you asked! we were trying for 6 months, doing all the usual charting including cm. last month (for the first time) i had NO slippery egg white cm and i fell pregnant! peculiar???

I think that's the way your body tells you that you're ovulating and it ready to get pregnant. I used this stuff to get pregnant... it has the same PH as your CM and mimicks what your body does. I got pg. immediately.

yes you can still get preg- the texture doesn't affect your fertility. Usually though your CM will thicken right before and when your ovulating, but everyone's different.

I really dont know,why wouldnt you be c'm egg white??But, i dont thing that would be a conceiving problem...So no worries!
