Trying to Conceive - July 2006

I get my period 1-2 a year at most, and I know I have to see a doctor about it, which I'm going to go to Planned Parenthood soon, but I had one miscarriage before with my periods like this...am I still ovulating even though I don't get them regularly?

i have irregular periods sometimes i whont get mi period for one month and the next month i will, i got my period on june 6, me and my hubby have been ttc for about 2 years now and still nothing we whent to the gyno and he said that we were both good but then i stoped going cus we had no money and insurance but in two months we r geting it again but any ways i need some advice i dont know whats going on what should we do, plz help

Before I had a miscarriage I received my last period on the 31st day. Now two periods after my miscarriage I am getting them on the 25th day. I have been trying to get pregnant since and have not been able to. Is my body still not back to normal yet because I know normal periods are at least 28 days apart.

My gurl is afraid that she is pregnant. But, she was on the deprovera birth control shot for 7 years. She's only been off the shot for about 1 year and a few months. How often after you've stopped taking the deprovera shot can one become pregnant? I've heard everything from a few months to a few years.

We have been trying since 3mths, my wife did'nt get pregnent. showed to doctor, she examined & said ovulation is normal. recomended to keep trying for another 3 months. She said 12 to 15 day is good for getting pregnant.

I am taking pre-natal vitamins while I am ttc. However, I don't know how good they are. Aren't they supposed to strengthen your hair & nails? How long until that occurs?

Also, have any of you ladies took additional vitamins while taking pre-natal? When I was just taking my typical daily multi-vitamin, I also took a calcicum suppulment. Can I do that now, along with the pre-natal?

Please don't respond "go ask the doctor" I will, when I go see him. I just wanted some personal expericene first..

For those of you who have had a child after having an IUD, how long did it take you to conceive after it was removed?

I currently have an IUD in (Mirena brand, if anyone was wondering) and we are wanting to conceive another child around this time next year.

I already know that your fertility is supposed to come back right away, by the very next cycle, but I was still wondering what everyone's experiences were.

I want to get pregnant again. I know they will be close in age that's what we want. I cleared up (no bleeding) no stiches,and can have sex. We started 2weeks ago.Of course if it had hurt or I wasn't healed we wouldn't have sex. i had been thinking about going on the pill and after 1 1/2 week of being on it i couldn't handle how it made me feel so i stopped taking it, i haven't taken it in 3 days and today i got my period... TWO WEEKS EARLY, my husband and i have had lots of sex and do not use any other contraceptives. we do want to have children, and i had only started the pill cause i was going to try for a new position and i was afraid i wouldnt get it if i got pregnant. well.. i didn't get it anyway, so it wouldn't make a difference either way.

is it normal to get your period when you stop taking the pill so early into your cycle?
