Usually the only way is to wait and hope, and then it's all in your genes. They do say that it will skip generations, but my Grandmother was a twin and she had twins, but my father did not, so I have a good chance of having one. (my father was a twin) Also they say it runs in the female's genes, not the father's.
good luck. you don't ALWAYS have to have the twin genes to have them I guess, sometimes it just happens.

My doctor said that when I was coming off the pills that I would have a better chance of conceiving but also a larger chance to produce fraternal twins. I didn't want twins so we waited a couple months after I got off the pill. Fertility drugs will also do that. Other than that, genes play a part in whether you will have identical twins.

There's supposed to be some kind of family line gap. such as if your mother had them you wont get them but your kid can. It's usually all by chance but some women have multiple sets of twins and triplets. Nowadays you can always go to a fertility clinic where they can put the stuff together for you in your womb so that you get twins. good luck

No there is no way unless you have the doctor take your eggs and your husband's sperm and put them together outside the womb and then put the eggs back once the sperm and eggs meet...but your chances of having more than 2 babies is high.
If you do not want to do that then just accept whatever the Lord blesses you with.

There's no way to conceive multiples naturally unless they run in your family and/or you just happen to conceive them. Fertility drugs and fertility procedures done after fertility drugs are used (Clomid, injectables, IVF, etc.) are the only things I know of that you can do to increase the chances of having multiples. With those drugs/procedures, though, there's no way to know if they'll even work at all or if you'll conceive one or six. Fertility drugs stimulate your ovaries to produce numerous eggs, and therefore the chances of more than one egg being fertilized is increased. With IVF, they almost always use more than one egg to increase the chance of fertilization of at least one egg. But, there of course many stories of women who go in hoping for just one baby and they end up with triplets, quads, etc. I know of one woman this happened to recently. She had an IUI (otherwise known as artificial insemination) done after taking fertility drugs and ended up with triplets. So, you never know what you could end up with. If you don't want to take the risk of more than twins and just have two eggs fertilized, you could end up with nothing, one, or two (or even more if one or both of the original eggs split). So, basically I'm just saying there's no way to know what you're going to end up with when you're dealing with this sort of thing. You could try and try for one thing and end up with something completely different (you want twins but you could end up with nothing or quads...or you could end up with twins, you just never know).
