Trying to Conceive - July 2006

i had a miscarriage on 14th june and on july 16th i had a spotting, i took a pregnancy test and it came out positive on 24th. i went to c my doc on 25th.....because i had a miscarriage and didn't had a period after that, my doctore asked me to do a transvaginal scan....the radiologist told me that she can see only a gestational sac and it was very faint and there was no yolk sac or fetus pole.she said i am 4 weeks +/- 5days.she advised me for another scan after 2weeks, but i feel iam not 4 weeks...its less than that ,that's why the scan didn't show anything in the gestational sac.
wat do you think.....iam having a blighted ovum or the scan was too early to determine anything. am very heart broken...if this happen....this is going to be my second miscarriage in a row. so, please don't be rude with your answers. if there is any doctors or nurses please do reply.

I would like to hear more from those who are not on birth control pills, IVF out of the qns, married & trying to conceive.... but u finally had it after 1 year and above of your marriage. Just let me know how it happen? I have been trying for a year, everything is normal but it just won't happen to me.....

I ask this because we want a boy for our next baby and knowing precise ovulation time is crucial. Problem is .... my wife checked her CM and its consistency indicated ovulation that day .. however ... while using the test pack 3 conscutive days previous to the CM check (up til CM day), the test showed negative.

The test only showed positive 3 days after the date that CM method indicated that she was supposed to ovulate. Bottomline ... the dates when she was supposed to ovulated were about 4-5 days different when she monitored using the two methods (of course they had to coincide).

Which goes back to my question .... which method should I rely on more to have a more accurate result on her ovulation date in thenext months? We plan to conceive by October (to have baby birthday 7-7-07 :) . Do we go with the 98% indicated success rate of the LH test pack (which says the female ovulates 12-24 hrs after positve result?) or the CM method. P.S. she also does the temperature thing.

My partner and I are trying for a baby. The past 3 months we have no result. This month we thought we had conceived as my breasts were sore, I was tired all the time and feeling sick. I thought I started having what you call implantation bleeding but it looks like it is my period that started two days early, only lighter than usual. I dont usually feel like this before or during my period.
What could the chances of me being pregnant be and still having my period? Has this happened to anyone out there?

I was wondering what the lines on a test stick meant !? When the test is positive does that mean the egg is released or it will be realeased in 12 - 24 hrs ? We have been trying for 10 months with no luck and have been starting sex from the day i get a positive result, and not doing it for abt a week berfore hand so the sperm can build up !? also any tips?

I was just wondering if you eat very little sugar and have very little caffine when pregnant will it help with having a calm baby. I have seen people with really calm babies, babies that didn't cry much or enjoyed being held. Is this because of the diet the parents followed when pregnant? Does anyone really know if no or very little sugar intake while pregnant has anything to do with the way a child may act or will act when they are born or the way they will act when they get older? I have 2 children who I really didn't follow a diet while pregnant, who are calm at times but also quite a fussy at times. (as i am sure this is true for other parents, who have children) I hope this does not seem like a dumb question.

I have heard if you are checking your cervix for mucus that it changes in the way it feels (when you check it with your fingers) Is it high is it low? It it soft like the inside of your check or is it hard like the tip of your nose? I have heard several things? does anyone know for sure?
