First, prenatal vitamins won't help you get pregnant. It only help to maintain vitamins in a woman's body that the baby takes.
Now, you would need to go to a Gynecologist, to get treatment for that problem. He or she would give you pills to help regulate your cycle. It would take a while but if you really want it, then go for it.
Don't give up, I've heard of women with the same problem and now have two or three kids. It's just a matter of patience.
Good Luck!!

It's always good to take prenatal vitamins but I don't think it will help getting pregnant. As for the irregular periods you might need to lose weight and stop trying so hard. It may be psychological and when you stop "trying" so hard it will happen. Good luck to you!

I have the same problem w/ my period & I talked to my doctor there is treatment for that I don't think prenatal vitamins are for that, see a doctor so they can explain what you can do to get pregnant & I don't think being a little over weight has anything to do with that, so see your doctor so they can give you suggestions like my doctor did.

Prenatal vitamins won't help you get pregnant. You should start taking prenatal or multi vitamins before you start conceiving because your baby needs at least .04mg of folic acid to avoid spinal defects.

You should take prenatals if you are trying to get PG, period.
If you want to regulate your cycles (without docs) go to GNC and buy Vitex, which is an herb that assists in regulating cycles and helps your hormones get in order.
Also, go on a diet and lose five pounds or so, something about that will kick start you.

Prenatal vitamins are not meant to help you get pregnant, they are meant to help nourish your body and your developing baby's body when you do get pregnant. They're just vitamins.
