I was asked by a co-worker am I prenant today and I told her no. They said you must be because your skin looks so clear and good. Is this a myth. They said that to another person at work a parent and she is now going to have a girl . Her secoind child. I work in a childcare center.

You go through lots of skin changes throughout pregnancy, some for better or worse. The blame can be placed on all those pregnancy hormones.

My complexion always looks radiant and people tell me I "glow." Haha

But then my skin darkens in other areas (stomach, breasts, etc.) and the skin on my tummy itches like crazy so it's not all smooth sailing!

It's a myth. Some women do find their skin clears up during pregnancy but an equal number of women have severe breakouts throughout pregnancy. A lot of different things affect your skin and you must be doing all the right things!

I never had any skin problems until i got pregnant, your skin changes a lot it dries because of the pregnancy and now I am getting acne, i never ever had that before so, i believe it is just a myth, aldo when pegnant you can get spots on your face.
