Why do you wear underwear?
Whats the story behind it too? Is it to keep your clothes clean for those who cant wipe well? Why should us good wipers be punished?

Maybe to trap spilled "liquids" or if you laugh too hard and pee comes out? I think it's just in case something happens to the pants, shorts, skirt, or dress so the private parts are not exposed. Also, briefs kinda hold guys in, but I don't think boxers do as well of a job? I'm not sure, I'm not an expert on men's underwear.

You're not being punished. Don't wear underwear if you don't want to. But it seems to me like it's easier to wash underwear everyday instead of every single pair of pants, shorts, skirts, capris, etc you wear after every time. I would also think underwear protects one's genitalia. One reason I wear it though is that if you buy sexy, cute ones, it makes you feel sexy and cute knowing what's under your clothes!

The reason for under ware is to absorb your body's natural odors. All humans perspire and release smelly odors.

i really dont know the reason behind it but it is uncomfortable when i dont because iam so used to it. Good question though!!
