i agree with ti'lee . . . people on here just post to post - they should know a little bit about "struggling" to get pregnant before making comments.
i am not yet on clomid, but on metformin to assist w/ getting pregnant - BUT I hear wonderful things (from friends) about it really boosting your ovulation and many people have conceived while on it.
i see a specialist (which by the way you have to be trying for ONE year before they put you on drugs and SIX months if you are over 35 - NOT TWO YEARS like someone else posted!!!) which advised me to have sex on days 10, 12, 14 and 16 of my cycle OR days 11, 13 and 15 (i personally switch every other month).
keep trying and keep your head up. it can be overwhelming and frustrating but keeping in mind the end result keeps me in the game!
best wishes,
Jen

did you get checked out by a fertility specialist first? Most specialists will not prescribe Clomid or any other treatments until someone has been trying for at least 2 years. It can take a healthy couple up to 2 years to conceive, even if they have had a child before.

i don't understand these people that post on here? but the answer to your question, yes it can work! and i take clomid 100mgs days 5-9 of my cycle. i didn't ovulate at all because of my irregular cycles and i take folic acids pills too, you just have to time sex and check your cervical mucus, clomid can make you dry so watch out for that! good luck

Clomid typically boosts your chances of conceiving about 10%. However the longer you use it...your chances begin to decrease after awhile.

You could adopt,or you could just keep trying, sooner or later it'll happen if your both still fertile that is.You may want to see a doctor about that though.
