If you are only concentrating on having a baby, there is a good chance that your wife is too tense. Forget about having a baby and make love for the sake of making love. I know a couple that only concentrated on conceiving for 3 years. They finally gave up trying to conceive, adopted a child and two weeks after receiving child she conceived. Pressure gone.

I had the same problem only it took us 5 years. I doctored and finally they found the problem and fixed it but I was told this is the last of the help and I might never get pregnant so I kind of gave up. Well, I did get pregnant and was blessed with 3 beautiful children. Good luck!

RELAX sometimes when you try too hard to have a baby. That's when you will have no luck. Relax and when you're not trying is when you will have good news. I know some people who were trying for a year and a half and decided to adopt. when the adoption was complete and a child in the nursery. The wife found she was 2 months pregnant.

As a person with 10 years of personal infertility experience, let me urge you to make an appointment with an infertility specialist. They usually recommend early testing to begin after 6 months of trying. It could be something as easy as a low sperm count or hormonal imbalance that could be helped. Your wife's OB/gyn could even start some of the testing and help you determine if she is even ovulating and if all the necessary hormone levels are in place. Good luck!

you and your wife may want to put your trust in GODand believe that if it was ment for you to have a child it will happen when it is the right time that may not mean our time but his time just pray on it and try not to be so anxious and make sure you cut out as much stress as possible good luck and GODBLESS.

First of all dont TRY.... the pressure alone could be your problem. I have a cyst in my ovary....hypothyroidism...supposed to be slim chances of me ever getting pregnant....and i am 21 weeks. With out sounding too gross..... she needs to have a good "O" and you need to finish in her right after. There are muscles contracting in her, that suck the sperm right in. The 3 times i got pregnant.... i was on top...try TOYS!!! seriously... i never thought i would ever get pregnant again.

no offence but that may not be a bad thing - the world is plenty populated as it is and the United Nations has long warned we need population controls in place

there are hundreds of unwanted kids whom you could adopt (babies are in demand so usualy you need to on a waiting list for a baby but older kids need loving homes too - for example if their parents died in car crash etc)

perhaps you will have kids perhaps not..

A year may not be enough, so don't worry about it yet. There are always options to look into after two or three years.
