Pregnancy - December 2007

Im only two to three week Pregnant, Im not ready to have a baby, so i want to stop it now and I want use you birth control pills now, will it work if I start now?

I did take the Pregnancy test that I got from the drug store and it was positive, but I had a few spots of bleeding these past two days.

Is it to late to stop it by taking birth control pills?

I'm 21 weeks Pregnant and have a history of Prem labour with My son it started at 24 weeks and With My daughter I had her at 28 weeks I would love to have a baby shower this pregnancy but was just wondering when I should have one due to My babies coming early or should I just not have one?
And how early is too early to have a baby shower?

I know the bub will come when its ready etc etc, but I am just curious for some ideas, I am having a vaginal birth after ceasarian so cannot be induced and bub is due at christmas.....

took and hpt im 7 days away from AF (yea a little early i know but im sooooo impatient ), well my test took like 5 or 6 mins to give me my BFN : ( all my other BFN's in the past have taken like less than 30 sec. I was wondering if maybe this means that the test detected HCG but not eneough to say pregnant. could this be promising to a BFP and no AF : )
oh it was a digital pregnant/ not pregnant tests (i also posted this in ttc)

I saw from a Website, 12 things to DO & DON'T do. And i saw this.. number 11...

11. DON'T Eat sushi, cold rice or soft cheeses or fish with a high mercury content.

Don't eat sushi.. humm is it not safe? i always like to eat the fish eggs sushi (Orange in colour), i eat alot.. is that okay??

Soft cheese.. What cheese they refering to? My fav cheese..


What Kind of fish with a high mercury? hope to have picture of that fish.. Thanks.

How many bikini cut csection can one have. If the first is a bikini cut will the second be vertical cut? I think vertical cut is tough one. any idea?

I am 23, reasonably healthy (nothing seriously wrong with me), I have a low weight, no history of D/S. Baby is in good weight for 17 weeks range.
Dad is healthy also. I have 2yo twin boys who I didn't test and were born healthy. I don't know if it is related, but my eldest is 80% deaf due to a narrow Eustachian Tube, plus some breathing difficulties, related to oversize Tonsils and Adenoids. But that is as serious as their health problems go.

I have had a few friends comment about me not wanting to have it done. To be truthful it scares me.

Do you think I really need to do it??

I want to know if it's possible for someone who had unprotected sex should use contraception pills,whereby she has not used the pills before and wants to start using it,but will see her period the next three weeks.Can it be possible for her to use the pill when she starts her next period whereby it will prevent her from getting pregnant. OR Is there anything she can use before the three weeks so that she wont get pregnant.Not me,a friend wants to know.

Can anyone give me advice. I am 6 weeks pregnant with 1st baby. My due date is 31st July. I am told that 1st baby's almost always arrive late. Is this the case?? I have this awful situation with my stepdaughter who is getting married on the 8th August and thinks that with me having my baby at such close proximity to her wedding, I am going to ruin her special day for her because my husband will be with me and not giving her away at the wedding. Rather than compromise my husband I have said to him that I will get a birthing partner just in case. Obviously I dont want to do that, am I am furious with my stepdaughter, so a late or baby on time would be good. Any experiences.???

How do vitamins work in our body? Does our body takes what it needs of vitamins and let the rest out? or does it take all the vitamin elements in the pill?
Same quedtion for the iron, I'm taking iron pills so does my body take all the iron in the pill or just takes what my body needs for me and my baby?

Im 4 days late (period was 4th Nov), iv done 4 tests all spead out (one this morning) and have all been negative, i have very sensitive nipples and have been veru hungry and tierd and iv noticed im going to the tiolet more but drinking the same amount. Im at the docs this afternoon, What do you guys think is going on? What do you think they will do at the docs?

Im ttc #1, this is my second month trying.

my sister is haveing a baby soon all through her pregnacy shes smoked...and she knows the risk of sids but shes to selfish and she thinks it cant happen to him...shes not prepared at all to have kids..she hasnt bought one thing for him..the familys ptiching in for everything plus she has to cats witch shes probley just going to let in the babys rooms...plus she lives in a small appt..when her and her husband smoke alot..like 2 packs a day..u light one cig in the apt and u choke to death..she says she going to quit but this is only like the 45th time she has said it during this pregnacy she hasnt even called a peditrition..shes not the best mother...im so scared this babys going to die of sids..and when i bring it up im yelled and screamed at and they tell..me if it happens it happens...seriously does this poor child have any chance...also im only 16 so..my voice means nothing to them...my whole familys like this....im very worried....does this baby even have chance

okay so last Sunday (12/02) while my boyfriend and I where having sex and before either of us finished the whole condom [awkwardly] got stuck inside me.
Luckily my boyfriend was competent to remove the condom (saving us a trip to the ER). He reassured me that he had "not comed", but since the condom didn't have sperimicide [to negated any pre-ejaculant] I am completely freaking out about a.............. potential pregnancy????

the last time i had my period was on Nov. 7.. except it was really really light spotting. and it only lasted a day. my boyfriend and i had sex that and the day after...

i just recently got on my period (Dec. 3) and it was heavy the first couple of days. it's not heavy no more. yet it's not that light. kinda in between i guess. but i took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative.. i'm gonna take another test 2-3 weeks from now.. but is it possible to be pregnant while on your period?

I was talking with a girl in my class today about pregnancy. She was asking when I was due, all of that, and the topic of her mom's friend came up. I thought this story was crazy and had to share it with you all:
Her mom's friend, at 30, had her tubes tied. At 47 she went into the hospital with bad stomach cramps and they told her she was in labor! She had a boy a few hours later.
I asked the girl how that was possible, not to be able to tell. She said she was a larger woman and just thought she was gaining weight and getting more tired with age... all that.
Have any of you ever heard of something like this? I have to wonder, how could she not feel the baby kick? It feels like my baby is in there doing karate!

Where can I find it? I am legal so I know I can buy it from the store without a prescription I was just curious is it down the parenthood ailse or do I have to ask the pharmacy for it? Also, how much does it usually cost? I want to pay for it in cash. Do they require my name and address when I buy it?? Does it actually work too?? Has anyone used pull out for a while and did not get pregnant but when they did try to have a baby were able to get pregnant fast? I am currently using withdraw and has worked for 4 years but we are going to try for a baby this month and I'm afraid I wont be able to because I havent yet?

I have really whacked up ovaries..and just wondering if endometriosis affects how painful pregnancy is..I know chances are slimer with it, but just not sure on when you are pregnant if it affects anything..
Odd question but I just don't want to be in pain when I do decide to have kids!
