I want to know if it's possible for someone who had unprotected sex should use contraception pills, whereby she has not used the pills before and wants to start using it,but will see her period the next three weeks. Can it be possible for her to use the pill when she starts her next period whereby it will prevent her from getting pregnant. OR Is there anything she can use before the three weeks so that she wont get pregnant. Not me,a friend wants to know.

The morning after pill but it has to be taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex

I think I see what you mean....

the pill won't stop her getting pregnant if she has already had unprotected sex.
And it takes a full 4 week cycle for it to be guaranteed (to 99%) to protect her against pregnancy.
So if she started taking it now it would interupt her cycle.
She needs to wait until the first day of her next period to start taking the pill.
Over the next 3 weeks use condoms to prevent pregnancy and prevent std's and also for the first 4 weeks of taking the pill to be 100% sure she won't get pregnant

If she had the unprotected sex in the last 72hours she can go and get the morning after pill which can stop her getting pregnant now. (its a once only pill)

good luck

The only thing i can think of is the morning after pill. This will stop unwanted pregnancies and then i suggest she go to her G.P and ask for the contraceptive pill.
