No, it is not true. My mother had 3 girls and 1 boy which all came weeks early. I had 2 boys, one of which came on the due date and one was a C section scheduled a week before the due date, birth was not imminent. It is not going to depend on the sex of the child, but on you.

Its probably an old wives tale. I have 3 kids boy, girl, boy, and all were 9 days late. I'm currently pregnant with #4 due in Feb and the Dr. and I are betting that this boy will be late too.

I think thats an old wives tale!
Babies come when they are good and ready. Both of mine were born 2-3 days after their due date. One boy, one girl.

Not true. My oldest, a boy, was two weeks over due. When he came out his skin was all wrinkly. Just like he had stayed in a bath tub for too long.

I don't think that's necessarily true.
I'm having a boy, due December 9th.
It's December 7th today and I'm not dilated or effaced at all. My family has a history of having late babies.
But it also depends on every person, as every person is different. =)
Hope that helps.
