I was searching on the internet about abortions and I just typed my question above in the search engine and I saw a link to Yahoo answers and signed up to get some answers. I have two children and I already aborted one pregnancy back in 2005 because we could not afford to support another child. With my first abortion my husband and I wasn't using any protection because I was breastfeeding and we thought I could not get pregnant. But this time we were using birth control and I got pregnant. I promised myself that I would never abort another baby but times are so hard for us right now. We have no help, daycare fees are high, cost of living, and food etc is so expensive. Adoption is not an option. I will always wonder how my baby is doing. Do you think God will punish me? Have I already been punished for aborting a baby?

If a person's last period was about nov. 26-29 and she started feeling sick on dec. 9-10 could this mean that the person is pregnant? aren't the "symptoms" a little too early?

The baby came out in the toilet. She went to the ER - they told her everything came out but did no exam and then she went back to a party less than 45minute later. Later she had some cocktails and danced and look fine and happy also. Is this behavior normal or should I be worried. We really wanted a baby and tried for very long - she was worried that she could not have a child. She was 12 weeks or so pregnant. Some say maybe she was not really pregnant as we got engaged only after she announced being pregnant. I'm not sure what is going on. Could it be unreal? Ideas?

A man named Peter ejactulates on a public toilet. Peter leaves and James sits on the toilet and his penis touches the semen of Peter. Now is it possible that the semen of Peter can go into James penis.

Now James goes to see his girlfriend Sara. He has intercourse with Sara and ejactulates inside of her or maybe he doesn't ejactulate inside of her.

Now is it possible that Sara gets pregnant with Peters baby because James sat in Peter semen on the toilet and then went to his girlfriend and had intercouse?

I am 20 years old and I know that an amniocentesis is not typically performed on a woman my age w/out any history of abnormal genetic history in her family but I was wondering if the doctors would perform one anyways and if this is covered by insurance in my case...im just extremely concerned that something could be wrong with my child....I know it sounds stupid but I have horrible bad luck and I am just so worried about this..also what about Chorionic villus sampling as an alternative...?

If you weren't having contractions, were full term in an uncomplicated pregnancy, why would you rush to hospital just because your water breaks? Especially in the middle of the night!!!! I mean, I understand you might call your midwife or the hospital to get advice, but why on earth would you rush to hospital just for waters?

Chances are you'd just get sent home again!!!

am 18 weeks pregnant and been suffering bad migraines therefor have had quite a lot of time off work due to this, when i phoned my employer to tell them when id be back to work and see if i could start a little later as i was struggling to drive in dark (have to leave 7 in morning) was told that my morning calls had been taken away(i am a care assistant and work mon - fri am 7-12 and tues/thurs teas 2-5 therefor i would be left with 6 hrs work per week..just not enough. they hadnt phoned me to inform me, i called them and they gave me no notice whatsoever about this change which i wouldnt of agreed to anyway as i cant afford to lose these hours but taking a half hour call off me every day wouldnt effect me as much and would help me a great deal as i could leave later when its not dark..where do i stand with this..can they really just remove my hours with out notifying me??
many thanks in advance

I've been PMSing for almost 2 weeks now! i usually did it for 1 week. but i still haven't gotten my period. this is very frustrating, and I'm very late getting it anyways. my LMP was July. I'm on the merina IUD, so this is one of the side effects, but i would think that if I'm having PMS symptoms i should have a period. my other concern is that my strings have shortened and the urgent care doc couldn't explain why they'd shortened. i have an appt with my GYN for the begining of Jan, but I'd kind of like a heads up as to what may be going on. anybody have any ideas?

I'm slightly worried b/c my PMS symptoms are very similar to pregnancy sypmtoms, but with the IUD in there i doubt it. but then again i second guess it now that the strings are shorter. i can not afford to get to the GYN any sooner than January, otherwise i'd be there already.

and in the begining of the sympotms i too two HPTs, both (-).

I am now 37 weeks pregnant...and went to the dr tues! he said that he would like to enduce labor on the 21st of this month (next friday) b/c of the size of the baby! Labor began naturally with my first child...although it had to be stopped b/c of complications, and started again with pitocin....and i was able to have her without and pain meds or anything....(14 hrs of labor)! and i was just wondering if the pain of being induced in the beginning will be more intense...or if labor may be longer.....
basically im just looking for someone to tell me what to expect with an induction.....i have no idea, and im worrying myself sick about it! lol

seriously. i understand that as a whole people in this country don't get adequate nutrients throughout the day; but i eat very well, i always have. i eat mainly organic and there are always several servings of vegetables, fruits, grains, and protein during the day for me... i've been given two different kind of prenatals at this point [prenate elite, and vitafol] both of which cause me to have extreme headaches. when i visited my ob she told me that i can take two flintstones instead but i mean.. that's a sh*tload of vitamins. especially if i'm eating well to begin with... i almost feel like maybe it could do more harm then good especially when it comes to vitamin A [which in flintstones is NOT all beta carotene] I guess what i'm asking is. What's the point. women have been making perfectly healthy babies since the dawn of time without these vitamins... and since things like spina bifida develop 28 days after conception and i'm nearly 11 weeks now.. i just think it's a little pointless

I am 28 weeks pregnant, and I just found out yesterday that I (most likely) have gestational diabetes, AND anemia. We're trying to correct both of these with diet. I'm overweight, but haven't gained a lot during this pregnancy. (a total of four pounds). Does anyone know how to mesh the diets for both of these conditions? One says no fat, the other says you DO need fat...I'm thourougly confused...

Used the morning after pill a week ago today, after the condom split. Last night has unprotected sex, however only a VERY small amount of semen went inside, if any at all. Went to the pharmacy today but they won't let me take it as I took it only a week ago and that is unsafe, what are my options?

I'm not a child i'm 30 it's just that this baby is not by my husband & the guy who it's by i am not in a relationship with & have no plans to be although he claims he's going to be here for his son.

"Allowed"
"Have to"
"Can't"

It is the woman's choice, and hers alone. Health professionals may give her advice, but it is up to her whether she accepts their recommendations. Anyone who tells a woman that she is not "allowed" to have a birth the way she wants it, "Has to" give birth the doctor's way, or "Can't" do something she wants for her baby's birth misunderstands his own authority.

Anyone else have any words or phrases (or stories) to add? :)
