I'm 4 weeks pregnant. I shoveled snow mixed with ice outside about an hour or so ago.it was heavy and i was stressing cuz the shovel kept getting stuck on the ice and it was making me mad. i feel fine, no bleeding no pain.. so everything is ok right? we have another snow storm coming this weekend.. should i avoid shoveling again?

u should always avoid do things like that if pregnant! how ever you are only 4 weeks and so this time it shouldnt have harmed you at all, but to be on the safe side...dont do it again! its not worth anything happening to the baby!

You are in your first trimester which is the most dangerous time for your baby. You should not be doing anything strenuous or that would cause you stress like that. Find someone else that can help with shoveling the snow, don't do it anymore!

yeh i wouldnt shovel anymore
plus you probably shouldnt even be outside on ice because if happen to fall you could end up loosing the baby

I'm sure you're fine, just don't strain too much. I shoveled very lightly earlier, and I'm 12 weeks. I was making me nervous, though, so I stopped.
