I, for one, am uncomfortable with this, although I have never seen a man. I have only seen women gyno's. I just feel uncomfortable putting myself in that "position" in front of a man who is not my husband. Do you?

My sister gave birth to a stillborn baby at 23 weeks. I am really close to my sister and really looked forward to becoming an aunt. I saw him in the ultrasound the day before he passed away. I felt as though I lost a child. I don't talk about it with family because I don't want to depress them. It's been over 6 weeks but I can't stop thinking about it. I feel like a part of me died that day. How do I overcome this?

So, I am 7 weeks pregnant. I am in need of reassurance, but feel odd calling my doctor since my appointment is in two weeks. I hate to "waste" their time and over react since this is my first pregnancy. I haven't had any "abnormal" things happen i.e. no bleeding, no severe cramps, etc, but I just am dying to know if things are going okay. My hubby tries to help, but just tells me not to worry. Easy for him to say! If anyone has any advice or are in same situation, please tell me something...anything!

I am 37 weeks preg, and my baby is breech. I read alot about risks and dangers of the external version to me and my baby and also learned that they give you drugs to relax your uterus during the procedure. i am very against having any drugs in my system while i am pregnant, unless it is to help deliver my baby. I have been considering refusing the external version and just planning a C-Section since that seems to be the easiest, safest way to have my baby. I am not afraid of or opposed having a c section.

I had a tubal the kind where a portion of the tubes are removed. Now i have changed my mind and was wondering if there are any natural ways to get pregnant without invitro or a tubal reversal. I know it sounds like a dumb question but i thought i would ask before i look into any surgical options.

I'm soon going to be 19, my boyfriend is 22we have been talking (only talking!) about having a baby.

we own our own house, with a mortgage. we have been together since i was 17 and he was 20. we love and trust each other very much and plan to spend the rest of our lives together.

my bf has a really good job with good pay and we regularly get at least £100 left over from his wages at the end of every month (after bills, food etc)!

i'm going to university this september starting a 4 year course where i will be at uni for about 3 days each week (a few hours each day)!

before anyone says 'wait unitl you've finished uni'... i have already decided that i want a baby sooner than in 4 years time.

Do you think that next year (when i'm 19) will be too soon or too young to have a baby?

I need opinions. I work about 40 minutes from the hopital that I plan to deliver my first baby at and I live almost an hour away. Should I be concerned? Is it too far to travel on that day?

I am pregnant and am wondering about abortion ONLY because I am debating on whether to have the genetic testing done and if they say that when my baby is born it would be dead or that it wil die young or have horrible life quality, then I don't want to put the child, my fiance and myself through that more than we have to. I want a healthy baby. So anyone's input would be great unless you're going to bash me for abortion. If that's the case you just don't get the question.

I'm 8 weeks along and yesterday I went for a walk for about an hour because I have not been doing anything really active lately and feel gross (because of all the exhaustion of being pregnant) I went just before I ate lunch and noticed I could barely speak to my collegue as I was walking.- out of breath Also I started to get this cramp in my abdomen, the kind you get when you go swimming right after eating or when you run for an extended period of time, I'm just a little paranoid and want to make sure that cramping like this may be normal?!?!

Coffee is really making my morning sickness much worse during this pregnancy, so I gave it up.

BOYYYY, do I ever MISS it! The smell, the taste, the ritual of grinding it and having it with bread in the morning, not to mention the alertness it gave me!

Who else misses it?

I am almost 11 weeks. I will be 11 tomorrow. Ive had 3 miscarriages before, and they all happened b4 7 weeks. Plus I have morning sicknessthis time, and ive never had it before. Do you think i could still have a chance to miscarry? I have no bleeding or cramping. I know there is a chance, but how great, this one sounds good. And If you know someone who miscarried later or around 11 weeks did they have bleeding?

Hi: this is a little long but read it anyway :) I gave birth naturally to my first baby daughter at a hospital (bed-birth) and I didn't like it at all. I was with my midwife and she was very helpful, but I didn't like the surroundings and during my labour which was moving very quickly (and soooo painfully) my husband couldn't really comfort me or rub in soothing oil or anything- he was just pushed to the side of the delivering room and I think he should have been there DOING more!!
I am going to deliver my second baby in 4 months through a home birth so my husband can get more involved with the birthing of our baby rather than just holding my hand- can I have any experiences please?? If you have had a homebirth please answer... how did you feel? What was labour like?
Thank you.
- Maddy x -
PS- Please tell me how your husband got involved with your birth home or hospital! Thanks alot xxx
