I'm 8 weeks along and yesterday I went for a walk for about an hour because I have not been doing anything really active lately and feel gross (because of all the exhaustion of being pregnant) I went just before I ate lunch and noticed I could barely speak to my collegue as I was walking.- out of breath Also I started to get this cramp in my abdomen, the kind you get when you go swimming right after eating or when you run for an extended period of time, I'm just a little paranoid and want to make sure that cramping like this may be normal?!?!

Shortness of breath is normal during pregnancy. As far as the cramping (lower right side) the same thing happened to me because I think I may have been walking to fast and my pregnant body wasn't used to that pace. If your worried call your OB for reassurance. I know how you feel this my 1st pregnancy and every little thing would make me wonder "is everything ok". You'll be fine

Round Ligament Pain. Your uterus is expanding and the surrounding ligaments are streching to accomadate it's new size and shape. A lot of activity or sudden movements (getting up to fast, stretching, coughing, sneezing) can give you that sharp pain or cramp you up. When it happens or gets really uncomfortable try resting for a minute...prop your feet up...it'll take some of the pressure off your abdomen.

Of course if the cramping gets really bad or you start spotting go see your doctor...that's something else entirely.

Yeah I think its quite normal. I'm only 7 weeks but every now and then I feel cramps really low in my abdomen. They are not as bad as regular menstrual cramps but still noticeable. As someone said before, you shouldn't worry unless it's accompanied by bleeding or so severe that it's unbearable.

Every woman on earth gets cramps of all kinds when pregnant.

Being winded is normal with pregnancy. So are stitches in your side when walking or swimming, or doing anything. Those muscles and tendons are stretching inside and they cramp up.

You're fine.

Cramps are normal during pregnancy. However cramps accompanied with blood can be a danger sign. THere were times it felt like someone was tearing my overies. Usually it is round ligament pain. If you are seriously worried contact your doctor. That is what they are there for.

Yep it's normal. I am 10wks and went shopping with my mom last weekend. I had to stop and rest every 15 min or so because I started getting cramps and was tired.

it is your uterus stretching and is normal to have menstrual like cramps, as long as there is no bleeding.
