You may give birth when you reach 40 weeks. That's a full-term pregnancy. I don't know why people say nine months. Pregnancy last for 40 weeks. But to answer your question, I've given birth at 34 wks, 30 wks, and 40 wks. So it's up to your baby.

First child ... 42 weeks.
Second child ... 38 weeks.
Third child ... 36 weeks.
Fourth child ... 42 weeks (they said she would be premature, but she was 'born late')
Fifth child ... 40 weeks.
You will 'give birth' when it's TIME ... anytime between 34 weeks and 43 weeks is 'normal' since most women don't really know how to 'calculate' and their doctors just 'accept' what they are told ... but they 'measure' the baby and do ultra-sounds to tell if the 'due date' is 'accurate' ... and even then, most pregnancies are not 'exactly 40 weeks' from the 'beginning day of the last known period' which is what a 'normal pregnancy' is supposed to be.

All pregnancies are different so there is no saying when you are going to give birth. It is ok to give birth anything from 2 weeks before your due date to 2 weeks after your due date. If you go well over your due date you may have to be induced to start labour off.
Im currently 39 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and he is due on saturday coming. With my first baby she was 10 days overdue and with my 2nd baby she was also overdue at exactly a week, so no doubt ill go over my due date this time too, im hoping not though, lol.
Anyway, hope this helps. Good luck!

It all depends on your unique pregnancy. Most people give birth from 38 to 42 weeks. That would be two within two weeks before or after your due date.

Mine were all c-sections so I gave birth when they set up the surgery.

With my 1st I was a week early, I am now 33 weeks pregnant so no way to tell for sure. Most people have their baby between one week before and one week after the due date. I'm sure you are ready for the day to be today!! I know I am lol!

I was 41 weeks....

They usually give a two week time frame before and after 40 weeks for you to deliver.....there really is no way to tell exactly when you are going to give birth
