First, let me say I am on BC pills and have been since last summer. My bf also uses condoms. On my green pill (placebo) week, I usually get my period tuesday afternoons (like clockwork)..there was only one time when i got it tues night. Well its weds and I still havent gotten anything. I dont have cramps or anything either. My breasts were sore a few days ago but not anymore. I have been sick with a cold/stomach flu-ish bug. I am really worried and just looking for some adivice...I am 19. Thanks

I am in my 3rd trimester. I hurt all over. I feel tired. I just want to be at home not at work. My body achs. If i am not hungry, i have to pee. I know it's only going to get worse through time. But has anyone found ways to make things more barable? Tricks to give you more energy? Anything to help body aches? Things that made you happy while pregnant? Things i could do at work that would help me get through the day?

Its 2.50am here and my waters have just broken (5 days overdue).

My midwife has given me instructions to call her at 8am if the water was clear (which it was), but i'm not having contractions yet.

I am NOT exaggerating when I say I have looked through the ENTIRE baby book at all the boy names. I cannot find one I would like to name my baby! Man, this is so hard. The only one my hausband and I agreed on was Tyler. But I want more options... I dont like traditional names (hate michael and robert, etc..) but I dont want something wierd either. My husband wants something boyish (see, i liked noah, but he wouldnt have it). Help!

i am 34 weeks pregnant and i have been having extreme pelvic pain for the past few months...my dr. said its just from the baby, but some days its so bad i can't get off the couch all day! it feels like my pubic bone is about to break! does anyone else have this problem, and is there anything i can do to relieve it? i've already had to take my maternity leave alot earlier than i wanted to because of it. thanks!!

i have had some brown dicharge and some redish brown blood since my cervic exam yesterday i'm 7 weeks i'm going for a scan saturday and the doctor said my womb was closed i'm hoping thats a good sign any one had this and its been ok also i have cervical erosion i have been treated for it once but it has come back could it just be that i'm so worried

How Long are contractions supposed to last... I know they are supposed to be less then 5 mins. apart but how long are they supposed to last like the duration of each one? I have been getting contractions for last 2 days about 3-5 mins apart when I was in yesterday they told me, but they said they weren't strong enough and then sent me home cause my uterus hadn't dialated. it was 50% and soft, but not dialated at all. My contractions have gotten a little stronger, but they are lasting a really long time. on average 8 mins. is this normal? I still don't think I'm dialated.. I don't want to go back in and be sent home again I was wondering if anyone knew how long too long was for a contraction to last. And what the risks are?

i am 6 weeks pregnant now....and i am dying to hear a hear beat and know things are going well...because up to this point I have not felt pregnant....and i was wanting to know the average time you get your first ultrasound...i have also hear of a sort of internal one they do this early on....has anyone gotten that or know about it?? thank you!!

i read somewhere once that it was safe to go on rollercoasters up until about your third month of pregnancy. we're going to busch gardens next week and im scared to trust that fact.

Hi, I am 18 weeks with my frist baby.
My hips are killing me, the place that hurts is way low on my back right where your hip bones would be, but it only hurts in the back low down.
Would it be the baby causeing this or do you think it would more likely be something esle? I have not done anything that would have caused it to hurt so im at a loss of what it might be. If anyone else has had this problem please any help is greatfully apreciated.

Can you use a heating pad while pregnant? I know that soulnds stuipid but I didnt know if it would get to hot for the baby. Thanks !!

Ok, i'm 38wks 3 days pregnant and i have a problem with the car that needs to be fixed (but doesn't affect the drive-ability as its a problem with the air con compressor). I just found out today its going to cost me $1,500 to fix (ouch... hadn't factored THAT in while working out financials!) but it COULD also take a few days to fix.

Being 38wks pregnant do i book the car in and do without for a few days - just so its fixed before baby or do i factor in that i could POSSIBLY go into labour sooner rather than later and hold off so that i have the car there should i need it? My hospital is a 30min drive away from home.

Just looking for some opinions from others as to what you would do?

I have always bought designer clothes from Nordstrom and Macy's and Saks. I know Nordstrom sell maternity clothes but are there any other stores that sell maternity clothes. I refuse to go to target or walmart for maternity clothes and I have had enough people suggest those 2 stores and I have never bought clothes at target or walmart and I especially won't start now that I am pregnant I need nice clothes and plus I work in a high end enviroment where I deal with high end clients so I can't look and wear cheap stuff.

I need to find an insurance that works for me and was wondering what everyone uses, Blue Cross, etc. I would like to use a midwife and I dont know anythng right now. My husband and I want to start trying now and I am so lost, I have never been pregnant before or anything so please, any info will help.

This coming Friday I'm going to have a C-section. This is mine and my husbands first child so obviously I'm nervous, anxious, excited (to finally have the baby lol). And I was just wondering exactly what all happens before, during, and after the operation and if there's anything I should look for.

Okay, my last period was on March 6th. My next is due the eighth of this month. I took three tests yesterday, and all showed up faintly positive. Can they really show that i'm pregnant this early? Just trying to eliminate any hormonal imbalances. Thanks for your comments

So I had sex, both protected and unprotected about a month and a half ago, two weeks after the sex though I got my normal period. I went off birth control a couple weeks ago-- I was still on it while having sex. Is it possible that I could be pregnant and still have that period, or no? I'm stressed because of all this and feel like that could be what is delaying my period, and also because I went off the pill?
Am I just freaking out or should I be worried that I'm pregnant?

So I called the Ob nurse and she said to come in and be checked...Well I was getting ready to leave and went to the bathroom and noticed that the bleeding had stopped. So I called back and asked if it was still important for me to come in and she said yes anytime there is bleeding at all to come in. So I went in and was checked and my Dr. was completely out of line with me..she called me a liar saying there was no bleeding and no proof that I was bleeding. I guess I should have taken her my bloody panties. But since she wouldnt address the bleeding that there was..she never did tell me what caused it. Im wondering if there is anyone else that may know what the bleeding was from. It was light kinda like the last day of your period...with a brownish tint. It was enough to stain my panties. Thanks..No stupid answers please.
