What color was the blood? That's the first thing your OB will ask. You had better call him/her just to be on the safe side though.

Better safe than sorry, so I'm going to say that yes, there is something wrong. Go to an emergency room and if it ends up being a waste of time (because everything's fine), then that's great. But the fact that you had the cramping ASWELL as the bleeding doesn't sound right. Especially for 3 hours.

Could be nothing, could be something. I had bleeding with all three of my pregnancies, the middle one was a miscarriage. I can't really tell you any more than that except that you'll probably want to give your doctor a call first thing tomorrow morning.

the samething happened to me. im now six months and eerythings fine. Call your doctor anyway just to be safe. when this happened to me i went to the emergency room and they had me waiting for like 4 hrs before i left. I called my doctor the next day (by then i was discharging and it was brown) he told me if theres no blood clots everything should be good its just your body is not used to not menustrating and thats why your bleeding. He still gave me a sonogram the following day to make sure everything was ok... but dont panic everything should be ok....(when this happened to me i was gushing blood..sorry i know a little gross).
good luck though and dont panic!

I think you should go to the ER they could at least give you an ultra sound to make sure the baby is alright. This happen to me when I was pregnant the first time and everything was fine but you need to be checked out.
