We have Blue Cross right now. We actually have a policy that doesn't cover maternity because we are done having kids. When we were on Blue Shield the maternity policy had a $5,000 deductible, then paid 80%, and had a 1 year waiting period for you to be on the policy before you delivered.

I think the best plan would be for you to meet with an agent who issues policies for multiple companies (we used our financial advisor). Because, even if you go with a national company like Blue Cross, they will have different policies depending on what state you live in and not all insurance plans are the same.

I suggest one to visit this website where you can get quotes from the best companies: http://QUOTES-FOR-INSURANCE.NET/index.html?src=2YAobaiVc5i3

You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

Go to: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=616163&Type=health

Take care,
Casey
