hey its my first time pregnant and i was wondering if someone could explain to me more bout this mucus plug and what it looks like?

Alright First part:

The baby pushes out so much with his/her elbows that it hurts?

and Part 2:

Ictchy belly, how do i combat it? I know its caused by your uteras growing. But its really itchy, na matter what cream i put on it.

I have tried everything.

I know that I am having a boy and I've carried him very low it seems like he is always on my bladder etc. The problem is the last couple of weeks it feels like he is bouncing on the bottom of my uterus making it feel like he is partialy in my vagina even though I know he is not. Has anyone ever experienced this so early? It mainly happens when I am sitting up...

Im 19 I live with my grandma and dont have a job because my grandma just had breast Cancer surgery and so im here taking care of her!! And I think im pregnant and I dont know how tell her or my fiances parents and im really scared to!!! What should I do or how should I tell her??? and abortion is not an option!!

I had a c-section 4 weeks ago tommorow, I keep drinking water, I have tried gas x for the last few days, and I am having pain under my right breast a few inches down above my stomach area, it feels like gas and pressure, I was wandering if anyone else has had this problem?

i could barely get up from my chair and walk when i get up my back pulls me down...like getting weak...and this is day 3 of losing my mucous plug...already 3 cm or i probably progressed more...but i also feel weird cause when i eat i never feel nauseated when im eating..my first time i feel that way when i eat i also feel alot of pressure down my abdomen and contractions i think they are braxton hicks but its getting a little tense it takes a while to get another one i know its not 5 minutes apart but it takes like every 10- 15 minutes i think...what do u think? tomorrow im going to the next check up. do you think my doc will tell me to go to the hospital already if i feel that way. ?

and he said that the plecenta is by my cervix right now when it should by higher. He said it usually moves but if not im going to have to have a c-section.
Is this common?

Hi everyone, I am 2 weeks from my due date and like many of you miserable and ready to get this pregnancy over with. I have 2 teenagers but of course the pregnancies were completely different from this one. Anyway, I went to the doc the other day and they said i was 1 cm dilated. i know that you can be dilated for weeks and even a month or so before actual active labor but they also said my cervix was still very thick and hard which was discouraging. I started dilating a month before active labor with my son but the cervix was thinning also. I am a little concerned with this one because she has engaged they say and her head is right at my cervix, in fact, when she moves it is very painful, but i am making no progress. i know i still have 2 weeks but as the countdown begins i guess i am looking for things to freak me out. The question is has anyone ever experienced or heard of women going into labor yet their cervix has not thinned out? Do you think this could be an indication

im a first time mom to be, im 17 and im 34 weeks pregnant. i am having... what you could call pains every once in a while. it almost feels like a really bad stomach ache, but goes away after a few minutes and then comes back about 10 minutes later. it does this 2 or 3 times a day. my baby has dropped, could these be braxton hicks or should i be worried?i plan on talking to my dr about it anyway at my next appt. i just wanted some input from people who know about it a little bit. also, does this indicate at all if i will have my baby soon?

28 weeks and getting very very tired of being pregnant. I feel bad sometimes that I am such a miserable pregnant woman. Please do not get me wrong, I am so excited for my little girl to arrive but the pregnancy part I can do without. I feel bad sometimes because I hear woman say how much they love being pregnant and I just do not get it.. am I alone in feeling this way?

I'm in my early 20's and have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for around a year. Well we usually use the withdrawl method (I know not reliable at all), but recently he has been finishing in me. The latest time it was when I was ovulating. My question is: If I havent became pregnant yet what are the odds I am now? My period is due on the 12th and I really dont think I am feeling anything out of the ordinary yet. I have a little bit of tingling in my breasts and I am tired, but isnt that just your regular run of the mill pms symptoms?

Okayyy i have been having the worst lower back pains for a about a week now! and i keep having so many brxton hicks and false labor im going insane!!! Im only 36 weeks though. So i decided to go walk the mall for 2 hours.... Why is that you get contractions when you walk? And i felt a lot of pressure when i started to walk.. Do you think maybe he*s making his way down there!!!?? I have also felt so drowsy latley! I already went through that whole nesting stage so i dont have to worry about getting all that stuff done! My body is just ready to give up already i feel so weak :-( Any info would be awesome! thanks everyone!!

I have been married for a couple years. My husband and I decide to get off the pill. On January 13 I took my last pill and had a period Jan. 15-20. However, I have not had a period since then (48 days now). I have taken several pregnancy test and even went in for a blood test at 38 days so I know I am not prego right now. I know that I just haven't started my period due to coming off the pill and my body being confused. My question is if it is possible to get pregnant before having another period. I am not overly concerned with become pregnant, I know it will happen when it's supposed to, but I just hate that my body is not doing what it should be right now. Just curious if anyone has had a similar situation and knows something about it.

- 2 periods late (took 6 tests, BUT called a doctor and they said that HPT's dont work on all women and its still a definate possibility)
- breasts feel heavier (hard to explain) and nipples are sensitive
- MOOD SWINGS! OH THE MOODSWINGS! crying one minute happy the next, feels like the ugliest person in the world in the morning, gorgeous by night!
- slight weight gain

Please, give me your opinion, i really dont have anyone to talk about this with.

after having sex for the first time i bled very little for about 4 days and i found a blood clot. it looked like dry blood. was that my period? i forgot the last time i got my period. me and my boyfriend had sex for the first time on february 10. he useD a condom and pulled out before hand. on february 24 he rubbed my genitals with his genitals with out a condom and i am afraid that the pre- seamenal fluid (if there was any) got inside me. how long after that will i show signs of being pregnant? how long should i wait to take a pregnancy test?

I know this is an odd question, but though I haven't gained any weight (lost in fact) in my pregnancy, my belly has started getting bigger (I think it's all baby in fact). I have noticed here lately that it is getting very very uncomfortable in the shower or in the tub. I usually shave with one leg above in the sink, but even that is starting to hurt a little because it is putting pressure on my belly. I would ask my hubby, but with the way he shaves and cuts himself, I am afraid that he would do the same. He just gets in too much of a hurry. Do you have any alternatives? Do you think that the shaveless hair remover would be dangerous to use? I do not use it because the fumes they carry and feel like it is better safe than put my baby at risk. I am putting this in the pregnancy section because I am sure most pregnant women have gone through this and they might have a solution.

I'm 39 weeks pregnant, and this morning I woke up a little more swollen than usual, and I also had loose stools, around 12 noon, I lost what I assume to be my mucus plug (quarter size amount of nasty clumpy blood tinged discharge)..is labor coming soon?

I am 37and a half weeks pregnant with gestational diabeties. I only take insulin once a day (20 minutes before breakfast-30/70 humalin). Recently (the past two days) I have been vomiting about two hours after a meal. Right before I vomit I have terrible pain under my sternum and into my back. As soon as I vomit, I feel much better. It does not matter if the meal is small or big- my blood sugar seems to be fine ( in the right range, although a little low after I vomit, but not in the danger zone). Is there anyone who has had a similar thing happen?
By the way, I am fully effaced and 1cm dialated (at last check a week ago); I am not having regular contractions and they are not strong or terribly uncomfortable. This is my first child.
