I really don't think at 5 wks she could do any harm to you. I believe that it is still just an egg at this point and has a LOT of protection. Later on though you will want to teach her there is another baby in there and if she hits or anything you in the stomach she can hurt the baby. As for right now I do not believe she could hurt you or the baby.
As for the pain, it is probably normal stretching pains, however keep an eye out for any bleeding, if you are going to miscarry then the first sign would be blood, NOT spotting...that can come from the raised levels of estrogen - especially after intercourse the first few wks - but enough blood to soak a panty liner is something to worry about.

I would suggest calling your Dr just to be on the safe side. But if she only put pressure on your tummy I wouldnt be too worried. There is sooo much protection in there around your baby that the baby prob didnt even feel anything. Remember your uterus is very sensitive right now and it may have caused a little irritation but probably not a miscarriage.

At 5 weeks of pregnancy your uterus has barely begun to have any enlargment. It is still sitting below your pubic bone. Even if you were further along and your uterus was sitting higher it takes much more of an injury to endanger the baby.
You may be having some discomfort, it may even be sore from being stepped on by a toddler but I do not believe that this action could endanger your pregnancy.
If you continue to have discomfort I would give a call to your doctor.

I doubt seriously a one year old could muster enough strength to cause a miscarriage. However, I would be worried about abdominal pain but be prepared if your doctor warns you there isn't much he/she can do if a miscarriage is impending because you are so early in your pregnancy.
I wish you well.

I wouldn't worry about it. You're uterus is so small and very internal right now. The pain is probably because your tummy is just going to be tender from now on. If it continues, go to the doc, but you're probably just fine. GL!

Please dont waste any time trying to get an answer here on this issue. It's far too important and should be answered only by a qualified medical professional who knows! We can all guess based on our own experiences but no one but your own doctor can really know. I
would say, given the age of your fetus now, you are likely going to be just fine but please check it out either with your own doc or another medical professional...as quickly as you can. good luck

i do not belive this can lead to a miscarage. But what i would do is if you are having pain is to call your doctor and talk to him/her about it.
