highly recommend talking to your doctor or pharmacist because this is crucial stage in the development of your baby and you wouldn't want to take any risks.

Take absolutely nothing over the counter unless your doctor says it is ok. Many medicines out there are not safe for expecting mothers, and your doctor will be able to tell you what is safe and what isn't.

you really need to ask your doctor to be safe but usually tylenol cold or sinus is safe. at least thats what the dr. told my sister and sister-in-law both when they were sick. they both took the medicine and had no problem with it, but make sure your dr. knows first before taking anything especially this early in the pregnancy

Not much. Tylenol and maybe try a regular tea(not herbal) with lemon and honey in it. Cold medicines are not good for baby.

ask your doctor or a pharmacist because the ingredients in some cold medicines can affect growth in the baby.

Robitussin dm. my doc gave me a whole list of meds safe to take while preg. ask your doc for it too.
i had a headache and asked my boyfriend to go get Tylenol b/c i knew it was safe b/c my doc said so, well, he asked the pharmacists and he gave him aspirin and said Tylenol was not good for preg. women. my doc said absolutely NO aspirin. I had to go all the way back to wal-greens b/c my boyfriend listen to the dumb pharmacist. Its best if you know, b/c theres no telling what would of happened if I took aspirin, and how many other women he told to take aspirin, thats scary.

Wait and talk to your doctor. But until then DO NOT USE COUGH DROPS. My ob told me that there is something about them that is not at all good for the baby.

in case your pregnant, you mustn't drink alcohol in any respect. regardless of whilst you're taking Lexapro or not!! Lexapro, i think is a style C drug. So it won't be taken with out the consent of your obstetrician.
