Pregnancy - March 2007

Im 23 weeks on thursday and still havent much of a bump, I know baby is fine as hes moving around every day and night, its just strange how its not much there. I was showing at 5 months on my two previous pregnancys. I should be glad really as ive the later summer months to have a big bump. Anyone 23 weeks and if show hows the bump.

my wife is 42. This is our first baby, through IVF. Been offered the amniocentesis and we don't know if we should have it. Anyone out there had a similar experience ?

I am so much smaller then my other 2 pregnancies,, in oreder to actually look of feel pregnant i have to lay down on my back, even then my uterus seems really small, I am very concerned about this and along with that, I havent gained any weight at all I have actually lost 14lbs since i became pregnant,, some one plz give me some insight on this, thnx

I had a miscarriage about six days ago, it wasn't really paintful, i just got regular cramps and bleeding like a normal period and right now my bleeding it's almost gone and i'm don't have cramps anymore. My doctor said I was really early in pregnancy and that I just had to wait a week to have sex again but i've been checking out some websites and they give different answers about it!!! can anybody tell me? I'm really concerned!!!

I read that if u dont have leakage but the time ur 28 weeks thats a good sign u wont be able to breastfeed
and im 27 weeks 2 days pregnant and i have sore nipples and there getting bigger but nothing is coming out no leakage
did anyone have this happen and was still able to breastfeed normally?

i was laying on my left side talking on the phone last night and out of no where i felt movement in my stomache i put my hand on it and felt something moving for he first so i looked and i can see my belly moving as if there was a heart beat sitting there on my right side going up and down then i would see my belly jump im worried is this normal or am i feeling the movement of a baby?16-17weeks

I am 12 weeks pregnant today and I am still having my cycles at every 28-30 days lasting 8 days long. I just started again last Tuesday, March 6 and it stopped on the 9 and I spotted on the 10th and the 11th and nothing today. Quite naturally I was suppose to last until Wednesday March 14. In spight of this the baby is still healthy and growing well with strong heart beats. My question is has anyone ever heard of something as odd as this? I had 3 other pregnancies and I never bled nothing more than spotting during implantation bleeding. So this is new to me and I'm honestly not worried. I didn't get morning sickness this time and all my pregnancy test keeps coming up negative, but the ultrasound shows that he's/she's there floating around. What do you think?

I had unprotected sex in January (yes I know it was irresponsible, please don't judge me). In Feb, my period was 2 weeks late and this has never happened to me before. Ever. I got a bit worried (as expected) and decided upon a pregnancy test. My friend bought me one and it said it's only 85% accurate. I took the test and it said I wasn't so I just forgot about it. My period ended up coming after all but it wasn't like the other ones, it was a bit lighter. Now, I feel like my tummy is swollen/tight and I've never had this sort of feeling before. My cousin told me this is the feeling she got when she was pregnant. Please help! (only serious people please)

I am 39 weeks pregnant today and soooo ready to deliver. What in the world can I do? I've been walking a lot (without tiring myself out), have had sex almost every day, and have eaten Mexican food for spice! :)

My cervix is soft and starting to dilate, so I know I have to be close. I'm just so swollen right now that I want to expedite the process. I'm sure some of you guys can relate. Do you have any methods to share with me that might work? I'm getting miserable.

During my last pregnancy i took a home test and they all came back negative or invalid. I went to the doctor just a few days later and she told me I was 11 weeks pregnant. Right now I am thinking I'm pregnant but it's a little hard to trust the home pregnancy tests. I have taken 3, 2 came back negative and 1 came back invalid. I'm confused!!!

Hello all! Im having a really hard time, i have no other choice but to have a c section as our baby is breech at 38 weeks... She just wont turn on her own, and the doc tried a version and there was just no room for her to turn around. ....
Well i ahve been having a very hard time as i always pictured giving my husband our baby through labor and am sad that i will never get to experience that. My hubby doesnt understand why i am so disappointed and upset that i dont get to go through labor...and to make matters worse ppl keep telling me how lucky i am to get to take the easy way out...by not having to be surprised when she comes and not having to go through labor. I GET VERY UPSET...has this happened to any one else? How did you cope?

I am 40 weeks pregnant, and I went to my doctor today. I am approx. 2cm dilated, and my cervix is very soft. The baby's head is still quite high though. I am have braxton hicks contractions everyday. This morning my doctor decided to strip or swipe my membranes? or stretch my cervix? Does this sound familiar, and does it actually work? He says it may bring on labour? My friend had this done twice and nothing happened. I really want to have this baby!!! Do you think it will work, and what else can I do to bring on labour?

I always thought that only women that have children get stretch marks on their stomachs. Am I foolish to believe this or can just about any woman that is over weight fall into the same catagory? My friend claims she has never had any children but has always had weight issues from childhood until now. Serious answers only please!

6 weeks pregnant, Do you guys think it is safe to go bowling, even with a very light 6lb or 8 lb ball? Also, what about having the radio loud in the car? (i don't want to sound silly, i just don't know because i've never done this before) And, hey.. any ideas/suggestions for things to do (places to go, besides the movies...lol) for us to spend time together without possibly causing any problems with this pregnancy? I am 38 wks preg. and have been loosing plug for weeks. It has increased in thickness and more in last few days. It is just slimy and yellowish clear without blood. Does it need to have blood in it to mean that labor is near.

ive been having what feels like pre-mentrual cramps for like...almost 2 weeks now. I ended up going to the hospital a week ago for it and they found that i was contracting just not in a regular pattern or anything. Well, im STILL having these cramps. They aren't just piddly little nothing cramps that you can ignore either. They get to the point that i end up lying down in the middle of the floor in the fetal position (which is hard to do..im 33 weeks pregnant and HUGE) crying im in so much pain. I have this very sharp pain right above my pubic bone on the right side right about..well...my vagina. I can't even lift my leg without crying and having to put my leg back down. Walking is a huge task becuase of all the pain i have in that one certain spot. Does anyone know what this could be? I said something to my doctor about it and he said it was just round ligiment pain..but...this bad? can it still just be that round ligiment pain even though its crippling?
