Space for your stomach is getting less and less. Even though you didn't have it before, at the end it is more common because there is so little space for the food to go. Try eating small and often. If that doesn't work, you can take antacids as long as they are low in sodium. Or you can ask your doctor to prescribe you something for the heartburn.

Yes.....it will probably get worse.

The baby is pushing upwards...on your stomach.

I lived on TUMS during my last 2 months.

If you aren't doing it already, start sleeping propped up on pillows. Acid reflux can eat away the enamel on your teeth while you sleep, and can cause bad sinus problems if it gets up into your pharynx.
