ive been having what feels like pre-mentrual cramps for like...almost 2 weeks now. I ended up going to the hospital a week ago for it and they found that i was contracting just not in a regular pattern or anything. Well, im STILL having these cramps. They aren't just piddly little nothing cramps that you can ignore either. They get to the point that i end up lying down in the middle of the floor in the fetal position (which is hard to do..im 33 weeks pregnant and HUGE) crying im in so much pain. I have this very sharp pain right above my pubic bone on the right side right about..well...my vagina. I can't even lift my leg without crying and having to put my leg back down. Walking is a huge task becuase of all the pain i have in that one certain spot. Does anyone know what this could be? I said something to my doctor about it and he said it was just round ligiment pain..but...this bad? can it still just be that round ligiment pain even though its crippling?

Congrats on your pregnancy! You are almost there mama! But round ligament pain this late this 'ouchy' girl please, i have not had that much. What it sounds like is you are having Braxston Hicks Contractions. They are preparing you for the real deal. A good thing about it is, you can practice your breathing (i know that is the last thing you wanted to hear).

If you can, take a tempid bath to try to ease your pain (you know not to hot, but comfortable... ya know the drill) That has helped me with my lower back pains and round ligament pains. IF it is really RLP that should help a little bit (i hope)

As for your doctor. Ppshh PLEASE. i hate it when i say i am in pain and i am hurting and the m-effers just push it off. I have been through 3 OB's .. RLP should only be either sharp quick pains or less sharp dull pains that only last a little while. They do NOT feel like contractions. And with not moving and resting, the pain should go away.

heres hoping you feel better soon!
