I was wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans (hipsters though) right up until the last couple of weeks when I started wearing my boyfriends jeans! I hated maternity jeans of all types - they are so uncomfortable!! Another post on here reminded me - I did use button expanders (like for fat people) and hid the gap with belts and long tops!
It's hard to say when I started to show. I was convinced there was a bump at 3 months, but looking back I guess I didn't really show much until 5-6 months.
I didn't put on a heck of a lot of weight throughout and it worried me, but I just couldn't eat much. I really don't understand how some women pile on the pounds. When I was hungry I was starving, but eating even a normal sized dinner made me feel like I'd just eaten 3 xmas dinners - no middle ground!
I was a little heavy to begin with and a year on I'm 16lbs lighter than I was before I got pregnant!! That's the joy of breastfeeding!

At what week during your pregnancy could you not be able to fit into your jeans anymore? I couldn't fit into my jeans at 7 weeks! That's actually how I convinced myself to take the pregnancy test.

I am average size and I had a hard time buttoning my pants at about 11-12 weeks. I didn't start wearing maternity till about 16 weeks w/ my first two, and started at about 14 weeks w/ #3 and #4. The clothes almost looked silly b/c there wasn't exactly a belly yet but for comfort sake I had to. I gained weight from the beginning. I put on 5 pounds in my 1st trimester. Total weight gain was 25-30 pounds for my pregnancies.

My weight was normal @ 144 when started & today I have gained 26 pounds & i am 8 months prego. i still wear my normal jeans, I don't have a lot of money to buy maternity clothes so I bought the belly sleev and I love it. You can get them at Mother hood. It makes it look like you shirts are longer and it covers your regular pants being open. I havent gained any weight in my butt or theighs.. I only have 6 more weeks to go and iv made it this far on regular clothes you can do it.. I really didnt start gaining weight til I was 6month prenant thats when it was about 4 pounds every 4 weeks. Before I got pregnant i was chubby :) I can still wear my jeans as long as i wear a belt to hind the fact that they are not buttoned...Because i started off chubby i have tried SO hard not to gain unnecessary weight. I have gained about 15 lbs and it is all belly. My jeans stopped buttoning in week 25. I started to show at about 19 weeks and I didn't actually gain any weight until week 20. First pregnancy could fit into jeans until about 4.5 months
Started gaining weight in second month
Tummy didn't really show until 4 months, I could tell when I was naked, as my waist was a bit thicker, and my boobs grew to startling proportions (compared to my usual small boobs) at about 2 months, but no one else noticed
Was pretty slim with neat bump
Second pregnancy more or less the same but everything showed earlier, so started showing at just under 4 months, and again (lucky me!) was pretty slim with a neat bump.
If you're interested, first baby was a girl 6lb 9oz, and second a boy, 6lb 14oz. I'm 5ft 4in and weigh about 8stone now. The children are tall, and average weight now at 6 and nearly 4.

I am 5'3" and weighed 117 and I am 14 weeks and I have gained 7 pounds so far and I am not starting to show. My first trimester was horrible, i started to gain around week 10 but since week 10 I have gained 5 pounds. I couldn't fit into my jeans at week 8....I hate that in between stage.

with my first i was skinny and i could not fit into my jeans start of second month i was walking around with button undone by 8 weeks i had told everyone bc i had too much of a belly to hide anymore now pregnant with second i wasn;t skinny just slim didn;t tell people till 3 months and couldn't fit into clothing at like 2 and a half months i think just bc the clothes were a bit bigger some people get really big some don;t with both i have have been giant

I was of average weight before I was pregnant with an athletic build. By two months I was noticing changes in my belly. I could still wear normal clothers but I didn't like them feeling snug at all. Somewhere between my third and fourth month I started wearing maternity clothes. I did this more for comfort reasons, not because my clothes didn't fit. I can still get my jeans on at 36 weeks it is just not practical at all.

I started this pregnancy out @ 158. (I am 5'3" so I guess I am chubby - well put BTW). I grew out of my jeans around 7 weeks, I started to put on weight around week 12. (I am 18 weeks now and have gained 8 ish lbs). I statred to really show around week 14.
