Pregnancy - February 2007

I am 19 weeks pregnant and have had higher blood pressures so my doc put me on meds and they seem to be coming down a little bit they averge 130-140/90. They did find some protein in my urine initially as well, which i had to do a 24 hour urine for but havent gotten back the results for exactly how much protein im spilling. Anyone else have similar pressures or protein while pregnant and if so how did it work out for you? I worry about everything!!!

not i am having just a little drops of brown blood i am guessing my period which i am supposed to have would have been tomorrow what could this mean not enough blood just a few spots here and there

Hi. Im 32 weeks pregnant today. My doctor is not the best. My insurance limits my choice. Well I know that you all might not be doctors but Im curious to what you think. Who knows maybe some of you women have gone through what Im going through. Well this is the deal. My blood pressure has been kinda high the last 6 weeks. (around 140/80) Well the last two weeks Ive had the worst swelling from my knees down and my hands. I wore flip flops for two hours and had bruises for 3 days. Its that bad. Ive also had really bad head aches. Well I went to the doctor today and hes running some blood test to see if anything looks funny. Do you think that im in the first signs of preeclampsia? Im off my feet 90% of the time and Im staying away from salts. Oh and this is my first pregnancy and they havnt found protein (besides a trace) but i almost always have blood in my urine. (dont know why) If anyone could tell me their thought if would help. Thanks alot!!

this is probably the stupidest thing that i have ever asked in my life. I am 22 weeks and 3 days pregnant, this is my third pregnancy and i do not know what is happening. Lately i am really stressed to the point where i get frustrated so much that i cant do anything for my 3 year old and he needs a lot of attention due to health reasons, im so stressed and upset all the time i just lay around and cry. I dont eat right i dont get out of bed half the time and if i do its to get dressed and make dinner for my son and bf. The past few days ive had nothing but 7 hours of sleep i just lay in bed in cry and dont stop, i keep gettin terrible migraines and a lot of cramping. Its at the point now where i think that i am being tortured for having this baby like its a big mistake. I am at the point where i feel like im gonna go nuts. Atleast 4 or 5 times a day i can feel my stomach cramping and getting really hard and sometimes i feel as if im going into labour. This has never happened any advice

I'm 10 days overdue. Last month my husband came inside me. But now my breasts are getting sore, the same signs I get before I get my period and I think I'm actually getiing my period. Now, if I do get my period, do you think I still could be pregnant or not?

When you're pregnant i heard that if you put a necklace by your stomach you can tell if you're having a boy or a girl but how? I know that it's supposed to swing either back and forth or around, but which one is a girl and which one is a boy?

I am 9 and a half weeks pregnant and I was told I have Subchorionic Hematoma, a blood clot in my uterus, about 3 weeks ago. A few days ago I was looking at some websites online to get some information about it and they all said I should avoid intercourse. Well, my doctor never told me this! My husband and I have been having sex without knowing this could harm our child. I decided to call my doctor today to see if these websites were correct. She told me I should not have intercourse because of the blood clot and she had to call me back tomorrow so I didn't get to ask many questions. My question is, what could happen from my husband and I having sex for those 3 weeks? I'm having bad cramping and spotting. I hope I didn't harm my baby!

Okay...So I had a pretty wild night with a guy that is 24, and I might add i am a minor. A month later I found out I was pregnant from him! I talked to him and he insisted i have an abortion and he would pay for it because i was to young! I had no choice I had to have an abortion or he would go to jail for statutory rape, and lose his little boy! I dont know if what i did was right...but i feel like crap! I hate my life, and all i want is to have a baby now! The sad part is he did absolutely nothing, because he claims he couldn't, while i was going through hell, he was out partying! I asked him to do me a favor and he refused, he wont even pay me back!!! What should i do? I find it so hard to get over him....he told me everything i wanted to hear so i would have an abortion and leave him alone! At points he has even admitted to not believing that i was pregnant from him, he literally called me a whore, when i lost my virginity to him! BUT PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME I DUNNO WHAT TO DO!

ok i had a ball of like brown discharge type stuff when i wiped and then nothing so the next day when i went home i did a hpt and it came up positive it was faint but not bad considering how early i tested,this was three days before my period was actually due.anyway about an hour after i got the poitive i went to the toilet and had two spots of bright pink and some brown discharge but only when i wiped not on the panty liner so the day after this started (two days before my period was due)i did another test it was a different one which wasnt as sensitive and i did it at night and it said you have to use first wee of the morn if testing before period is due it was neg the brown discharge kept up until last night (i assumed i was having m/c but today the day my period is due it has gone and i have just clear discharge no color at all.Now i have,not cramps,but pressure in abdomen,have had alot of gas this week,if i am pregnant is it ok to have pressure feeling the day period is due?

I have had symptoms of being pregnant for the last 5 months, but I have been having a seemingly regular cycle (except this time it was a week early), and I am not showing really (my tummy is a little larger than normal, but so far I have attributed that to holiday weight). Has anyone else experienced bleeding and cramps far into (or for the entire of) their pregnancy? I would like to hear some voices of experience with this.

Ok I am 13 weeks pregnant and had my sonagram today, the baby looks really big. Do they blow the picture up so the baby looks bigger? It has been 5 years since my last sonogram and I didn't have one this early. I have read that the baby is only supposed to be the size of a peach. Anyone have any input? Thanks

I had a miscarriage about 8 months ago, and i was just 5 weeks along . I just found out today that i am pregnant again, but its still so early, only 4 weeks. I've been using a topical face cream with a small percentage of salicylic acid in it for acne. I am 6 wks pregnant and never considered that it might be bad during pregnancy. Anyone know?

i am 21 weeks preg.. i already have a 6 yr old son.. so i am hopin for a girl.. i am worrying myself about what this baby is.. my doc is tellin me they won't give my an ultrasound because i am too healthy.. although i was passing out and getting sick.. i need help convincing them to get me an ultrasound so it can calm my worries.. and i can start shopping since i am a single mother and can't pay for an ultrasound out of my pocket..

I have found many different definitions of natural birth. I want to know what the majority of people think is meant by this term. I had a natural birth and I know what that term means to me. Is there anyone out there who considers themselves to have had a natural birth and what was it about the birth that made it natural? Those who have had a medically managed birth, what interventions can be performed and the woman involved still feels she had a natural birth?? Anyone any ideas or experiences to share?

i had unprotected sex on 11th of feb.to prevent pregenancy i am thing of taking plan B medicine. it will work for me or not. My m/c is not regular (after 1.5 months or more).

I am 9 weeks pregnant , my doctor prescribed zofran for me and of course he wouldn't give me something that is harmful for me and my baby, but I needed more opinions on it before i take it!! What do you guys know about it and or what do you think? NO RUDE COMMENTS PLEASE!!!!
