Blood in urine is usually urinary tract infection. Have you got a low-grade fever? No proteins in urine?
Anyhow- yes it COULD potentially be pre-eclampsia, especially sinc eyou have severe edeam and it's not hot weather.
Stay calm, await results, and see how it goes.
Good luck!

I know a great deal about preeclampsia because I am scared i will develop it so is my doc. I am only 19 weeks and it is not diagnosed till 20 weeks. Sounds like preeclamsia to me though. Have you done a 24 hour urine lately to see exactly HOW much protein you are spilling? Best thing to do is stay off your feet, lay on your left side keep stress to a minimum maybe they can put you on a bp medication to keep it moderated so you can hold out a little while longer. The crappy thing is there really is NOTHING you can do to stop preeclampsia from happening...if its going to happen it will. But, luckily for you, you're already 32 weeks which is really good. Even if you cant hold out for long you are not at a terrible stage should you absolutely need to deliver. Almost all babies can survive as of 29 weeks. So hang in there and make sure they're monitoring you very closely. Watch out for if you start seeing spots! Best of luck to you!!!

YOU CAN PREVENT PREECLAMPSIA...even if it has already started to develop, there are ways to control swelling and blood pressure. Dr Brewer, of the Brewer Institute had a whole webpage at www.blueribbonbaby.com about this, I followed it in each of my pregnancies and it helped tremendously.

Diet is the most important thing to consider. Actually, salt is not a demon in this, in moderation it can help pass some water. Speaking of water you should be drinking at least a gallon a day of water, preferably distilled, but even tap is good. Oddly enough, a cucumber a day helps reduce swelling.
The most important part of controlling diet with preeclampsia is high protein. Cut out your carbohydrates, all the refined sugars. No soda, chips, crackers or bread, one serving of pasta. Eat lots of green and red veggies, cut back on fruits. Most important you should be eating 100 grams of protein a day. For example, if you eat only beef, you should have 14 ounces, nearly a full pound of lowfat, not fried from McD's meat. I would send dh to get trimmed brisket from a local bbq place, without sauce, a pound of brisket could reduce my swelling and blood pressure in less than an hour.
Beef7 grams/ounce
Poultry7 grams/ounce
Fish7 grams/ounce
Large Egg7 grams/egg
Milk8 grams/cup
Cheese (eg. Cheddar)7 grams/ounce

I had my son last year june 24, My first child. @ 36 weeks i was told i had preeclampsia my BP was 166/111...I had previously told the doc. about a month or more before that about my sudden swelling in my hands and feet...ankles...face...everywhere...i was a size 4.5 ring and couldnt wear 7's , my feet were before 6.5 and i couldnt were 7.5's...i had gained 50lbs by 36 weeks.
My son was born the night I was diagnosed with preeclampsia...they induced me right away because of the extremely high levels of protein and the high BP. Luckiy i had a natural birth , the magnesium sulfate wasnt nice...and the vision problems lasted weeks..here i am 8 months later and my eyes arent the same. I experianced a nose bleed the next day 2 times...but no one explained that to me...and i had an anxiety attack which made my throat close. I also had to get an epidural right away to keep from feeling anypain that might make my BP get higher...They stoped telling me what my bp was because it was making me more nervous...so the highest i knew of was when i walked in the hospital it was 166/111.
My son was 5lb 6oz. 18 inches... a day later he was jaundice but it cleared up in a few couple days.
Dr.s dont diagnose Preeclampsia unless you have proteins(fair amounts) and HIGH BP.
If you develop what feels like REALLY bad heart burn, BLURRED VISION, or SEVERE headaches GO TO THE ER!!!!

I would ask about being induced early...because I had sudden onset pre eclampsia...my BP had been getting high but i never swole up with it until the day I delivered...I had been going to get NST twice a week but then Oct 3,2006 my husband came home from work and I was swollen really bad...we went to the hospital early for the NST and my doctor came in and told us that he wanted to induce,I was 1 day shy of 37 weeks,my BP was 168/121...they made me get and epidural before I was even 2 cm dilated so that the pain didn't make it go higher...I was also put on megnesium sulfate which was really bad...I hope everything turns out for the best with you and your baby...

Your pressure maybe a tad bit high on top, but it is really not that bad, maybe compared to what it is when your not pregnant. Don't read too much into it, as that in itself could raise it! Throughout my first pregnancy my pressure was high, but around 29 or 30 weeks my pressure started going up to 170 on top and 100-110 on bottom. I constantly had ultrasounds and non stress tests because of it. When i reached 36 weeks, i went for one of my appointments (i was going twice weekly) and my doctor saw my ankles swollen to soccer ball size!(you might think i am kidding, but i am not) We went straight from the office to the hospital and he induced me in a matter of minutes. I ended up having to have an emergency c-section because of the baby's heartbeat(cord was twisted around his neck and under his arm)in a matter of under two hours from when i was induced. I'm not trying to scare you, but just trying to reassure you that if your doctor starts seeing your pressures rise and you start testing positive for protein, he will undoubtedly take extra care and precaution. I wish you so much luck and i know that with the first baby especially comes extra concern, but it will be okay!! Congratulations on your first and it only gets better from here!!

I had what they called silent toximia. I had high blood pressure and my doctor didnt think anything of it. I was 6 1/2 months pregnant and I was up all night with a bad head ache and stomach ache. That morning i didnt know where i was and i started having seizures. It was a really bad thing. So i am not trying to scare you or worry you but it is a very serious thing. So watch yourself and please take care of yourself. Good luck and congratulations on your baby!

my preeclampsia got here approximately basically approximately 25 yrs in the past. it became my first being pregnant. went in for a nicely-known weekly examine up, i became at 36 weeks by utilising this element. i became conserving water, i became 11 lbs heavier in that one week and my blood presure became 157/102, i think. i became advised they have been admitting my into the well-being midsection and that i might stay there until eventually my infant became born. this became feb third and my due date became feb 28... approximately 2 hours after i became admitted into the well-being midsection my water bag broke and my daughter became born approximately 12 hours later. so i became fortunate i think of. i had 2 greater pregnancies after that and that i didnt have the preeclampsia yet i did have gestational diabetes with the 2nd being pregnant and the third being pregnant became fairly regular different than that infant ended up being 4 days previous due and weighing 9.5 lbs and became 23 inches long, she didnt slot in new child clothing
