Every pregnancy is different because every woman's body will handle it in different ways. I am currently 39 weeks and I have actually lost 22 lbs. So don't worry. As long as your baby's heart beats are strong and the Dr.'s have no worries, you shouldn't either. Our baby boy is a healthy 8 lbs right now and his kicks and wiggles are strong and his heartbeat is stronger!:)

If it's ok with your doctor you should be fine. You will probably start to put on a little more now as the baby is really having growth spurts.Consider yourself lucky.I am 36 wks and I started out at 130 and am now 154 so 24lbs not to bad.Congratulations to you and your new little one!

they say that you should gain 25-30lbs during your pregnancy. My midwife sugests a pound a week for the first 20weeks and then 10lbs for the last 20 weeks. I dont think it really matters how you gain it as long at you gain it. I would think your doing fine. As long as you arent going hungry you will be fine.

yes you sound like you are right on track. if you were not gaining enough the nurse would tell you right away and by now you should have had your glucose test that would have shown if there was a problem. don't worry. good luck and congrats on the baby.

I've always heard 1 pound a week is a good target.

Ask your doctor.

Your weight gain seems about right, as long as your doctor isn't worried, you shouldn't be worried.
