I am 19 weeks pregnant and have had higher blood pressures so my doc put me on meds and they seem to be coming down a little bit they averge 130-140/90. They did find some protein in my urine initially as well, which i had to do a 24 hour urine for but havent gotten back the results for exactly how much protein im spilling. Anyone else have similar pressures or protein while pregnant and if so how did it work out for you? I worry about everything!!!

I have high blood pressure, no protein in my urine, though. I've done the 24 hour urine thing three times already. I'm currently 36 weeks and my baby measures small. I worry about it, but my doc told me not to. It's natural to worry about the health of your child.

I got PIH and they sent me for the 24 hours protein (which sucked LOL,I hated doing that) everything came back fine though...I had really high blood pressure in the last few weeks of my pregnancy and had to be induced at 37 weeks with a bp of 158/121...but my daughter was tiny at 4lbs 12oz but perfectly healthy...

I never had protein in my urine, I just wanted to tell you that it's natural to worry about everything. Just wait until you are about to deliver. I had these dreams that I left the baby in the store or forgot it on top of the car. That one was a real winner, I was afraid to sleep for days ! It's just part of the reality of pregnancy, especially if it's your first. Just relax, I'm sure everything will be fine. Stress isn't good for either of you !

Sounds like you are doing everything right. Wait until the test results come back. Don't buy trouble. If they don't call you the day they said they were going to, call them! Relax and enjoy being pregnant.

Awee hunny i went threw this with my first its called Preclampcia . Or toxemia . Just keep taking the meds:) what did they put you on they put me on aldomet. Its safe for the baby. Imsure all will be fine if you have any guestions feel free to write nhmomma2006@yahoo.com

I never experienced any of your problems when i was pregnant, i have four kids and have had two miscarrages, the only complications i ever had were kidney infections.
