My cousin was hospitalised for the terrible headaches she had during her second pregnancy, but that was because they were like migraines that also made her vomit.
I had mild headaches for the first few months of my pregnancy but it wasnt until further into the pregnancy that the doctors started to worry as it can be a sign of high blood pressure.
Its best though, if your getting frequent headaches to see your doctor and just have him check your blood pressure and note it all down just so he/she knows and can keep an eye on you if it gets worse.
Good Luck :o)

Yep, I have very bad migraines only when i'm pregnant. Check in with your OB. I am allowed a caffeine drink when I get a headache and if it turns into a migraine I can take asprin or tylenol with codeine. Obviously, mine are horrible. Without meds I vomit for hours with no relief.
Start keeping a log of what you eat. You might find a link to something in your diet. That was the first thing they had me do.
Best of luck!!!

Don't worry. It is your body's reaction to all the extra hormones that are being produced in your body. Give it a little time and you will be okay. Your second trimester will be better....

Headaches are normal, caused by increased blood flow and increased hormones. They might get worse before they get better, but it will all be worth it.
