Her parents know but we don't know if she should marry first or have the baby first

She should just have the baby. I dont think if someone finds out that they are pregnant that they need to run out and get married. Good luck.

I don't understand what marriage has to do with having a baby. These are two completely different things. The girl is going to have enough to deal with when it comes to the baby. She will be tired and sick a lot, and probably emotional too. Planning a wedding is extremely stressfull for the bride. It is not something a pregnant woman should have to deal with. How can she even know if she will fit into her dress or not a few days after she gets it? It would be best to make sure she wants to be with this guy first. Men get stressed out during these times too. And we all know that a man under too much stress will tend to run.
I waited till my son was one years old and I live with my boyfriend for over a year before we decided to get married.
Oh and her parents have no say what so ever unless she is under aged.

most ppl will think marriage is a better option since parents have found out, but your friend should ask herself how well she knows n loves that guy. marriage is a lifetime and can't regret. Do not get married blindly becoz of the baby. It might end up to be divorce if both parties cannot get along and it will cost much pain to the child who is innocent. she also must make sure that both families involved are supportive if not she will have to face another in-law problems. So good luck to your friend and hopes that she makes the right choice.

its really up to her. i was engaged when i found out i was pregnant. we got married first. there is no harm in waiting if she wants too. if it makes her feel better to be married first then go for it. other wise wait if she wants. there are ups and downs so both sides of this issue. i was happy to be married but if she does not want to marry this guy she should not do so just because there is a baby involved. good luck.

Getting married due to pregnancy is never a good idea. I had my daughter when I was 17, when she was two weeks old we got married. The marriage was a sham, he cheated on me and made me responsible for EVERYTHING. He got arrested when she was 4 months old and I went to work to pay all of his court costs, restitution, etc. I paid all the bills, daycare, food, rent, everything for the baby, house, everything. He did NOTHING for either of us. After 4 years of this I got tired and I left him. I am by myself and I wish I had never married him. Advise her not to do this, it will be a huge mistake. I wish her luck with everything.

Getting married jsut because she's pregnant is a pretty lousy reason to get married.
She should get married if and when she wants to get married, not just because she's pregnant.

it depends how old they are. getting married is a huge thing...not saying that having a baby isn't...lol...but if lovve love each other ebough to bring up the baby together...i say FOLLOW YOUR HEART!!!
