I am pregnant and am smoking although i have cut down i still smoke around 6 a day what can smoking cause to my baby and should i try and quit altogether.

I've been using Dial Antibacterial soap (my regular soap) during my whole pregnancy. Just wondering what kind of soap you all used. Did you all just keep using your regular soap or did you all feel the need to switch during pregnancy?

How long should your contractions last?
I'm 41 weeks- and have been having contractions 7 min apart since about 2am.. I started timing them again adn they are roughly anywhere from 5 - 7 minutes apart and lasting 60 seconds each... is it time to call?

TMI alert!! Pregnancy/labor question...

39 wks along.... Could these signs mean labor is near?: Experienced some low cramping overnight (more like tiny stabs - hardly noticeable); Woke up today nauseaus; Had an urgent, excessive BM (not diarrhea though); and lost a small bit of plug this morning in the toilet.

Ladies, what do you think?

a few days ago she has been trying to make this an issue with my husband... just because I am 27 and pregnant with my 2nd child...she say's she won't dress more conservative around me and my husband. She tells me if I am this insecure I should get my breast done. She keeps suggesting my husband is interested in her which is disgusting and iimpossible...just because I think anyone will stare at her in a negative way. She says I am keeping my husband away from her...and packing on the pounds. I feel mixed becuase I want my kids to know her but her screwed up way of thinking is making me miserable. Help!

guys- I hearing things on this site like women dont give men rights over their babies or no father rights. women dont consider men opinion or for the okay if a woman wants an abortion or wants to put a baby up for an adoption so here we go If you have sex with a woman (youre not married not really together one-night stand or maybe if you are married) and a women comes to you say she pregnant by you and says she's considering abortion or adoption would you consider giving your opinion about her decision and possibly try to change her mind to keeping the baby or you ( maybe you can consider raising the baby) or do you not want any part in her descision meaning whatever decision the girl/woman makes is whatever, you dont care you dont want any part of it?

Hi! I'm 18 weeks pregnant, and recently I've noticed that when I lie down on my side both of my hips start to tingle. Its not painful in anyway its just very uncomfortable and it doesn't go away. I can no longer lay on my back as the baby is getting to big the pressure is uncomfortable. Obviously I can't sleep on my stomache so I'm feeling stuck on how to get a little rest with less discomfort.

So about 4 weeks ago my girlfriend had her period and ended on a thursday. We had unprotected sex on saturday i know stupid you dont need to tell me. She took the plan b on tteusday which was three days after we had sex. the next week she had the side affect of the heavier dark brown period which is a side affect. but then the next day her period went back to normal color and ended the next friday. That was a week ago. So this week she said that she thinks her boobs are growing which could be happening but that is also a sign of pregnancy. She said that she has been waking up the last couple days with migrains as well. And she has been really tired She also has montgomery glands around her nipples which are normal even if not pregnant but they are stick out more. its the 3rd week since we had sex so she took a pregnancy test and it came up negative. But if anyone has had experience with this I would like to know if its normal or if she could be preganant. i know go to a doctor.

hello please for give the spelling errors as its late and once again I up thinking about wanting to adopt a baby.We are a cupple who have osum Careers for the state we live in a nice home well be moveing to in april in the country side.We have a wonderfull family but our hearts are aching to be parents again.We adopted our daughter from foster care who has mild disablitys and is doing great 4 yrs ago but the foster care system broke our hearts when a baby girl we rased from 3 month to 3yrs was suddenly given back to the birth mother after they told us we could adopt her.We dont think we want to be foster parents agin after that.We would like to have a open adoption but agencys fees are so high who could pay 30,0000 with out getting in debt threw the nose.We set up a websight www.family4urbaby.com for birthmothers to look at and be able to contact us but have had a hard time getting it to those women who are looking for great parents for their child.If you or some one you know would be
