Good luck, I have the same problem. You are pretty much stuck with one side or the other. I am 34 weeks and can't wait to be able to sleep more comfortably again. You may want to try propping head and back up on more pillows, sometimes that works for me. Also, towards the end of the pregnancy, sleeping in a recliner is also an option (I may be doing that myself if I can get one with tax money).

When I was pregnant, I had two special pillows. One that went between my knees and helped take the pressure off of my hips. The other was like a mattress with a hole in it, which allowed me to put my belly into the hole and sleep on my stomach without pressure.
Congrats, there is nothing like being a mom!

tilt your hips to either side slightly... often this can be maintained by .. putting a small roll or pillow under the elevated hip..... you can't lay flat on your back as your expanding uterus will put pressure on the neighboring blood vessels... seriously reducing blood flow to your growing baby...
if you are able,, take some Tylenol or another form of non narcotic analgesic.. this could promote sleep as well...
follow up with your OBGyn to see what they might recommend.
good luck.. and sweet dreams

GO TO JCPENNY AND ORDER THE "HOOKED ON COMFORT" PILLOW FROM THEIR BABY SECTION!!!!
I am now 36 weeks pregnant and still loving it....I went from 2 hours of sleep or less per night to a full night of sleep.....I give one to all my pregnant friends early on in lue of a shower gift and ALL have thanked me...it is $59.95 and worth it....once the baby is born it also replaces the need for a $35 Boppy and when your child grows you can wrap it around them when they are in the bobbly stage of sitting so when they inevitably fall asleep sitting up and fall over, their head is protected.....YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS PURCHASE....trust me!!!!

one pillow between your knees and one under your tummy ,it will help but the best cure comes after the birth ,a baby free tummy.pregnancy is not easy!
They say it is but its very uncomfortable ,you will get all sorts of weird pains and cramps ,but it will all be forgotten (almost ) after the baby is in your arms.
