i was elated when i hit the 20 week mark - halfway there! but the past two weeks, are torture! i feel like i'll never get there! why do we get so impatient? i can't wait to meet my baby!

Okay.. here's my story. The past weekend (starting on Friday morning), I had unprotected sex. After looking up a few things on fertility and my possible fertility days on the calendar (it varies since my cycle isn't perfectly regular, but it doesn't vary too much.. only about a day or so difference). Anyways... it marked that my fertile days were thursday through sunday. I also looked up the signs so that I could think back and see if I had any of them. I started having them on Thursday morning. I took Plan B on Sunday morning (only one pill since the second pill later that night I threw up right after taking it since I was having so many side effects). Now this morning I had a few drops of a redish brown color in my underwear that stopped right after it started. Yesterday morning, I had about 2 or 3 drops of a light red blood that stopped right after it happened. Is this implantation bleeding? Why in the past few days have I been getting this clear discharge that doesn't seem to stop?

I have had two children both with epidurals, first epidural great experience, second epidural i am not sure if my anesthesiologist was no good or what but i felt pain in the same area for months after birth and it hurt very bad when she gave it to me and i had great labors with both but would love to try no medication, can somebody give me their inspirational story, has anyone experienced both? thank you all

I am a first time mom and looking to wash the hospital clothes for me and baby, as well as the crib bedding set so that whatever baby will come in contact with, is clean and washed. I have a couple questions on a good brand of laundry detergent and hope you will give me some suggestions?
I have always heard of the famous Dreft liquid. Over where I am, at Target it is sold for 300oz at $19.99 and at Toys R Us the 200oz is 19.99 so that is expensive if you ask me. Someone recommended that I use All detergent for babies as it's less cheaper and sometimes the Dreft will irritate an infant's skin. When my hub and I attended baby care basics class, my instructor told us that any brand is fine as long as it has no scent and no dyes. I am not too sure about just any brand, so I want some of your suggestions? What have any of you moms used and what worked? I also have to do a 2nd rinse when washing baby clothes right?

My niece is 2 days overdue and has only dilated 2 cm. We thought because she is young and this is her first that she would give birth rather quickly. Is there anything besides walking that could make her dilate quicker. Or should we just continue to walk her. She's miserable and just wants to give birth already lol.

i stopped taking the pill last feb,,,,and my periods were super very irregular,and i didint get one for a long time,,,well i finally got it this past january!,,,im already a week late this month,,i thought i was gonna start a couple a days ago,,,cause i got cramps,,and my boobs were sore,,i did have some pink light spotting,,very little though,,a couple a days ago,,everything i smelled grossed me out,,,,i dunno,,,ive been trying to get preggers all year,,also,,,,,is it true that u get cold like symptoms when u get pregnant?...i dunno,,maybe im just being my irregular old self,,and wishful thinking,,,,

My husbands coworker told him that his wife puts cabbage leaves in her bra to help dry up the breast milk because she isn't nursing. Has anyone EVER heard of this cuz I sure haven't. Does it work and what is it about cabbage that dries the milk up???

My arms are getting a little flabby latley and I would like to tone them up a bit. Is it safe to do arm exercises with 2 3pound weights when I am 26 weeks along. The only exercise I have been doing is walking and that is doing nothing for my arms.

ok my breasts arent really sore or tender however my nipples are constantly itcy and 90% of the time they are hard for no reason. is this normal and if so is there anything that can be done about it p.s my partners 14 year old brother cant take his eyes off them, thats the most embarrassing part!

i have done more than 10 pregnancy tests and still 3weeks late on my period,i have had all the common symptoms of pregnancy and have had enough of just waiting.i have been to the doctors who have given me another test and am waiting for the tests results,which my doctor thinks i am having an ectopic pregnancy,so my question is if i am pregnant,why havent any of the test picked it up????

I know a silly question! I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my second and I didn't get to experience labor coming on naturally with my first so I really don't know what to look for or expect (I was induced at 37 with my first). Yesterday I kept having non-stop, back to back braxton hicks. Some were more intense than others, some made my cervix feel like it was being jabbed open! (May be that was the baby's head?) I see my doc today and he'll be checking my progress. Wish me luck and thanks in advance!

I'm due this coming Monday, Feb. 19th. I have a cold. Really bad cold! Like aching, stuffy head, cant breathe at night (also because of asthma). Im not running any fever, I just feel like crap. Do some of you think it is possible for the Dr. to put off the induction since Im sick? I just need something to relieve the aches, tried hot showers, but nothing works.

I recently stopped taking birth control pills and my doctor did tell me it might take a while for my cycle to regulate itself. I stopped in November, had my period right away (as expected - placebo pill week). I got my next period 26 days later but I haven't gotten my next one. This is day 52 and counting. I am not stressed out, my diet has remained pretty constant and I am not over or underweight. I'm not really worried about being pregnant since we were using protection (I took a couple of pregnancy tests anyway - all negative), but I would just like to know where my period is.

Ok, I am 12 weeks pregnant, and I was laying in bed last night and my husband went to push himself to get up out of bed (we were cuddling) and accidentally pushed on the outside of my stomach near the pelvic bone. Of course he stopped immediately, and it was an accident, but that is not where the baby is right? I would estimate that it was where my left ovary would be. It did not hurt and it was two seconds because as soon as he did it he was like oh no, sorry baby, and kissed my stomach. The baby is more in the middle of my stomach correct? Thanks for your help, I know being a new mom some of my questions are unique, but your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok. After reading alot of these questions and answers, I have officially become disturbed. ALOT and I do mean ALOT of you are using the morning after pill for questions and answers....and using it as a form of birth control....which is something it IS NOT. It is used as an emergency resolution. It seems almost like everyone is using it as an excuse to have unprotected sex. So, I want to know why this "morning after pill" is being taunted as a form of birth control? I'm not disagreeing with those who have already or may use it. I just think it should be used for its intended purpose instead of a form of birth control. Am I wrong? Are people being misinformed about this?
