I recently stopped taking birth control pills and my doctor did tell me it might take a while for my cycle to regulate itself. I stopped in November, had my period right away (as expected - placebo pill week). I got my next period 26 days later but I haven't gotten my next one. This is day 52 and counting. I am not stressed out, my diet has remained pretty constant and I am not over or underweight. I'm not really worried about being pregnant since we were using protection (I took a couple of pregnancy tests anyway - all negative), but I would just like to know where my period is.

I was in the same boat. Went off birth control in May. Got my period right away. Didn't have it again untill August (that lasted 2 weeks) Next period was 4 weeks long (yes it lasted 4 weeks) in October and had to be stopped with medication. Birth control can really mess with your system. Hang in there, it is normal and your body will eventually work itself out. If you do not have a period in three months, your doctor will want to chemically induce a period using Provera (or a similar med). If you are really concerned, talk with your doc.

My period has been like maybe 3 days late. When i was on the depo shot though i never had a period and when i stopped taking it my period returned the next month.
Go to the doctor for a blood test or it could just be the birth control pills doing this to you.

Once i started taking birth control pills but they made me so bloated and i stopped taking them and you know i only took them for 5 days and that caused me not to have a period for 2 months.
I have never been so late unless it has to do with being on birth control well coming off of it.

I went 3 months without a period when I stopped the pill. I went 10 months without a period because I was so thin and exercising too much as a teenager, and then another 3 months with a miscarriage, and 10 months again with this pregnancy.

Do not be worry. It is normal that sometimes our period stops. My latest period had taken 5 months. I went to the doctor and he said it is normal.
But if you are not sure, go to the doctor and see what he thinks
