Me too!!! I was so excited when I hit 20 weeks. I am now almost 26 and each week seems to be getting slower and slower. Then there are the dreams...I dream about my little boy and I feel I already know his little personality...I can't wait until he comes! It doesn't always help to be busy...the days still seem to crawl. Sometimes I sort through a few of the baby clothes I have gotten...fold them and refold them and look at them, hang them up, then fold them and put them back in the drawer! Haha! It makes me feel like this is real, that it really is going to happen! It helps me feel like I am preparing and doing something for him. Good luck with everything! We can do it, we will make it! :)

I"m at the 31 weeks mark myself and am counting down, and already hung up on time. With my first two kids I tried so hard not to count down, but I did and it seemed to drag out longer. The more time we spend focused on time the longer it seems to be. The busier our hands are and mind is the quicker things pass. So now I'm trying a week by week, spreading out chours throughout the week just so I can keep busy enough I won't be tempted to sit down and read yet again my week by week baby calender.
Being halfway through pregancy is great, the sudden feeling like, you've accoplished half of it already just builds up your spirit and only suddenly hits you that you've got half of it to go still. Not fun to think about, the waiting that is.
Keep your mind and hands busy, no more calender, I check it once a week, that way when I see 7 days have passed it seems like it went fast! Instead of a day to day thing.
Good luck, Hang in there, we're all with you!

I know exactly what you mean. I am 38 weeks pregnant. I will be 39 weeks on Mon. I can not wait for my baby to arrive. A lot of it has to do with being scared of labor on my part. This is my first baby and I long to get through all the pain and just have my baby in my arms with both of us alright. I also have been going through a swelled kidney on my right side because my baby is sitting on a tube inside of me so my pregnancy has been some what difficult. I think that once you get down to your last weeks it just feels like you have been pregnant forever. It's like you want it just to be done with so you can start this new chapter in your life. Don't worry though time as slowly as it might be will bring you and thank goodness me to an end with the result of both of our babies being brought into the world. Good luck and congrats!

I guess it depends! time started creeping for me years ago when i first started trying to get pregnant, so now i feel like i'm in the home stretch! I feel like I don't have time to do the things I want to do, things that will be hard or impossible in the first year or so with the baby. Maybe try looking at it that way - what do you want to do that you won't be able to do later? If your list is long like mine you'll feel like you may find yourself wishing time would slow down a bit! I also found that a change of scenery for a weekend or week really helped, by the way.

You're just not doing enough in your every day life.. lol. I only got impatient when I was sitting around the house doing nothing. Get up, go for a walk, hit the mall, or do some house work... something to keep your mind busy.
It'll pass.
