Pregnancy - January 2007

Every evening, I get really nauseous and tired, but I'm still hungry for dinner and I can't think of anything to eat that doesn't sound disgusting. Any kind of meat sounds gross, and usually cheese and vegetables too. The only things I could think of that don't gross me out are plain rice and noodles.
What were you able to eat while you were nauseous and hungry at the same time?

Look...I am in a major debate class and one of the girls in my class wants to make a law agenst abortion. I am like being the major lawyer and i need websites and information on why abortion should be allowed. Any help would be wounderful. So please...i need a bunch of recorses to take her on. when using the Doppler what does it sound like when your baby hiccups??

i just used mine.. and it sound like she got hiccups! it was quite frequent??

I had my ultrasound last week and today was my dr.'s appt. the dr said as of right now my placenta was covering my cervix and probably have to have a c-section. he said there is a chance that as my uterus grows it might strtch the placenta with it and move it out of the way. Has anyone had this happen to them ?? what was the outcome?? did you have to have a c-section or did your placenta move?? Any helpful tips or experiences would help. Thanks

First off i am 23 yr old college grad with a decent job in a committed relationship. The father has asked to marry me several times several mos before i was preg but i refused and i still refuse. my parents, aunts, and sisters divorce showed me the ugly side of marriage and i am going to wait a very long time before i jump off that bridge.

why do i feel like im 15 when it comes to telling my mom and sister? my whole family told me on my grad day from college not to get preg and less than a month later i am. i've never really invested much thought into what they said cuz theyve made some mistakes themselves and i am an adult but i cant bring my self to tell them? i dont want to hear my moms mouth about me not being married (she is an devout christian) and i dont want to hear my sisters mouth about me wasting my education by not starting my career. i just dont think i deserve to be dumped all over considering im battling this morning (noon and night) sickness and fatigue.

im 17 years old and have just started having intercourse again since 2005. A month having unprotected sex with my partner i began to develop some symptoms. I am sleeping way more than normal and i am beginning to have abdominal pain my breast are tender and i am always dizzy, i wonder could i be pregnant, however recently my cycle began earlier than it should have it lasted for four days before stopping, should i be concerned or should i just let it slide?

I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend!! I had sex on the 5th through to the 15th of January (this month)!! I took the morning after pill on the 11th of january but stupidly continued having unprotected sex afterwards. I know that the morning after pill only works 72 hours so it has missed some of the days previous taking it and it has also missed 4 days after taking it!! What are the chances of me getting pregnant from this and worst of all i was ovulating at the time, they were my most fertile days of the month i found out!! What are the chances of me getting pregnant from this or will i be allright from taking the morning after pill?? I also had sex in between taking the two tablets (in that 12 hour period) please help!! Has anyone got pregnant from a situation like this or these circumstances??

I'm due to have my second baby in August. I know for sure this is my last one...actually I thought my first one was my last one, but this one's a little surprise while I was using the Mirena IUD. Anyway, I was planning on getting my tubes cut, tied and burned after the delivery because I figure it wouldn't be that much more pain to go through while I recover from delivery. My husband offered to have a vasectomy instead (what a nice guy!) Do you think it's necessary to go through both? Is it easier for him to recover than me? Which one works better? Any insight on either procedure would help a lot.

I've been having cramps under my belly; (feels similer to growing pains/constipation.) It hurts to walk up stairs, drive over a bump in the road, lay on my side/roll over , sleep and sitting up etc. I went to a doctor and he said he's not concerned and the baby is fine. (But it hurts!) Anyone have any safe pain relief methods to ease the pain? (I have tried a heating pad, warm bath and tylenol; hasn't helped.)

im only 6 weeks and super concerned (this is my 1st baby). I am very scared because i was drinking wine up untill new years (my last period was dec. 3) i just called around today for doctors and was told they dont see new mothers until at least 8 wks. is there anything abnormal i should be looking for that would be cause for me to go to like the er or something?

as far as i know i just have normal symptoms, sore breasts, nausea, fatigue but im scared about the fetal alcohol syndrome.
back when i was 4 weeks i was getting bad cramps, llike the worst ive ever had. they have since stopped but im scared? please help if u kno anything about it!

well i just got back from the hospital and had a preg test done by blood. and it was neg, but the hcg levels in my blood was 12.2 enough for a miscarage or not enough to show yet that im preg, that is what i was told by the nurse..so i was sopttin only when i wiped on 3 diff ocasions on the 8,13,14,15 th of this month my period was supose to be on the 9th..so could i be preg but only like a week or was it a misscariage? ive had no pians what so ever, and been on no birthcontrol ever. just havein unprotected sex alot. the dr said return in a week if no period at all

I am 31 weeks going on 32 weeks and have been experiencing my stomach getting really tight... it is uncomfortable, I don't think it's contractions, cause it's not really painful, but it feels weird and uncomfortable...
It is starting to happen more and more, and my baby moves around alot...Is this normal ???
Has anybody else experienced this at 31 weeks... I'd appreciate some advice or opinions.. or personal experiences would be great ... thanks.
