I have often pretended to give birth and thought of making a documentary to show teen moms how childbirth realy is but i dont know anything. How do i show them its happening to me when i am acting. you are being asked because you have done it for real. plese help

You may say something like "Now i know why it is called labor! It is such hard work". Some times there is pain in the back and then you may have stomach pains as well. I have heard that at times a woman may curse the one who got her this way. There can be some bad after birth pains that are like very bad cramping that can last a night or day or more. If a woman stays active then i think that the pain may be easier. It is different with each woman and each time. As soon as a woman sees her baby then she does not mind the pain she went through. You are sore down ther afterward. You have to wear pads. If you have to have a Cesarean then you have had a major operation.

you cant show teenagers what giving birth is really like as no 2 births are the same just as no 2 pregnancys are the same
if you want to make a docu on giving birth film a real birth as teenagers can tell the difference between a live birth and a staged fake birth alternatively get the teenagers to watch real life birthing programs on tv they film the easy birth to the hard birth to the complicated birth
they film both natural and c-section births
they film from singleton births to multiple births
a good channel to watch in uk in living tv 2 not sure if same shows are broadcast in america there are hours and hours of these programs on daily

You need to show a real birth....You probably should choose a different topic for your documentary since you have never done it and don't know anything about it....

There are already a million movies out there that show actual women giving birth. I don't think it would be easy to "pretend" to give birth. It wont look right. Good luck

I agree with what has been said before. Honestly, there are so many TV shows on cable now showing what it is to give birth. You could just show them one of them....and there are lots of teen moms on them as well.

You can watch a Baby Story on TLC. They have women on their giving birth both naturally and with epidurals...There are several other shows on tv that show that also.

there is no way that anyone could every truly act like the were in labor. the best way to teach teens about labor is to let them watch a tape of a real one.

you could probably find teen that is really pregnant and can really show them... if not you may not want to do that documentary on this- or just not yet
