well i just got back from the hospital and had a preg test done by blood. and it was neg, but the hcg levels in my blood was 12.2 enough for a miscarage or not enough to show yet that im preg, that is what i was told by the nurse..so i was sopttin only when i wiped on 3 diff ocasions on the 8,13,14,15 th of this month my period was supose to be on the 9th..so could i be preg but only like a week or was it a misscariage? ive had no pians what so ever, and been on no birthcontrol ever. just havein unprotected sex alot. the dr said return in a week if no period at all

Anything over 10 is borderline. It can be that you haven't made enough of the hormone yet. You could have ovulated late and therefore don't have a build up of the hormone. I hope you are trying because I had the same thing and I am now 21 weeks along. If no period go back and they will say CONGRATS!!! Good luck

I have had a miscarriage and trust me you'll know something is wrong... I though it was a very heavy period, but the problem was the pain in my stomach and everytime I moved blood gushed out like a water faucet on full blast. I waited like 2 days before I went to my doctor , just to see if it would lihjted up, but it didn't and the pain got worse, I went to the dr. and he checked me and told me I was miscarrying and needed a dnc.... So watch for that.. heavy heavy bleeding and severe abdominal pain. It sounds to me it could be a possibility of pregnancy, but the only thing about that is blood work 9 times out of 10 don't lie, but wait a few more weeks then take a test... good luck

Unfortunately a result of 12.2 is very low and too low even for 1 week. A normal never been pregnant result is <5 whereas a positive result even early on is usually in the thousands. Your result probably means that you have had a miscarriage and that your levels are reurning to "normal". Sorry to tell you this and good luck for the future.

If you have another blood test in a few days and the hcg levels go up then preg, go down then miscarried.

It probably has been long enough for a home pregnancy test to register your pregnancy. Good luck!

you could be pregnant and its just not showing up all the way yet give it a little bit longer good luck if this is what you want
