I do feel that abortion is murder but I know that it will still happen if it was outlawed. I would rather see it done in a safe way then the back room abortions of the 50's.

yes abortion is murder so it should be outlawed. For those who choose to abort and say, how can you take away a woman's choice- I will say one thing that might make you think-
If you have a gun and shot someone, if is not lawful to do that so you can be arrested and if convicted go to jail or receive the death penality. What kind of defense would it be if you say to the judge and jury- "It is not unlawful to kill a person, because I chose too". Think about it. A baby dies in every abortion- what choice did they have. Just because the woman did not want to be a mother at that time does not make murder ok.

unfortunately if they outlawed abortion then it will be done illegally in the back alleys and more girls will die and have future problems. i wish more girls/women would consider the consequences before they have sex and get pregnant. but it wont happen and i wouldnt never have an abortion but i do understand that there are circumstances that abortion is needed as long as it doesnt become a "birth control" for a woman, then abortion shouldnt be outlawed but NO i dont agree with it, i do believe a fetus/embryo/unborn baby is still a living soul, but if its not going to survive (positively) or if the mother will die because of the pregnancy then i do believe that abortion is okay for that.

I don't believe that anyone should be able to determine what is best for another person's reproductive rights. I struggled a lot myself with whether to have an abortion or not - and came to my own conclusion based on my beliefs and feelings. (Still pregnant!!) I think telling someone they CAN'T have an abortion is only going to push them to a back-alley abortion or some other dangerous situation - when it really should be doctors and medical professionals who handle them. I do however, think there needs to be a time limit on abortions - after a certain point the baby can survive outside of the womb, the chance at life shouldn't be taken away then.

Whether or not abortion should be outlawed is entirely the wrong question to ask? Clearly there are isolated circumstances in which abortion is justifiable, usually involving rape; however, in the GREAT majority of cases abortion is used as an alternative means of birth control. The correct question is whether or not abortion, in it's most common form, is morally acceptable. In all other areas of life citizens are forced to deal with the consequences of their actions, yet our nation allows it's people to easily, and without any relevant consequence, discontinue the life of a fetus. Enough of this "we have to give woman the right to make that choice" crap....abortion is murder in it's simplest form and even the most enthused, educated pro-choicers can't argue that fact. I am by no means attempting to suggest that facing the reality of unwanted pregnancy is easy; however, this idea that abortion is somehow a "fundamental right" is makes me ill.

i personnaly dont believe in abortion but i do believe theres a time and place for them
if you were raped and got pregnant would you honestly want to carry your attackers baby
if you had ultrasounds and tests done that came back telling you that your baby was severly handicapped would never do anything for its self would need you to give 24/7 care would suffer , would you honestly want to give birth knowing your baby was gonni
suffer and die in a short space of time

ano i wouldnt i would rather abort than cause suffering and pain theres already enough suffering and pain in the world

if you 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 year old daughter came and told you she was pregnant would you convince her to go through a pregnancy her body wasnt mature enough to handle or would you take her to te doctors for an abortion

No, I dont belive in using them for birth control by any means, but i do belive in them for certain reasons, say the woman gets raped and gets pregnant most women wouldnt want the child as a reminder about that horrid day. also if they didnt want a child in the first place in that case it was not their fault for getting pregnant. second, if the mother gets pregnant and is grave danger of loosing her own life then i think its ok to terminate the pregnancy, but that is like a case to case basis and shouldnt happen more than once, if that occurs the woman should be made to tie her tubes if its that grate of a risk for her to have a child. Not just keep getting pregnant and then terminating. This is a hard topic because its a choice matter and there are many many opinions on it, this is just mine. I strongly DO NOT belive in it as a birth control, unless the mother would neglect or harm the child or dump it in the trash wich happens you hear it on the news all the time. For some instances it is better to kinda' put it out of its misery' type of thing. again this is just my own personal opinion.

They should be regulated. If it were a case of rape and the woman went to the doctor at that time, something should be given to the woman like a morning after pill to prevent the pregnancy all together. In cases of serious health issues, then you should have the choice whether or not to continue with the pregnancy. In any other cases... they should be illegal.

I think they should, if you do not want your baby then you should just put it up for adoption. The big problem with abortions is our messed up society. People teach their kids that if they have a kid at a young age that their whole life is messed up forever and that scares them. People do not realize that you can still have a good life with a kid, you just have to work a little harder than most people. Their are so many people that want babies that can not have them, if you do not want your baby then just give it to those people. I know so many girls that got abortions and regreted it, most girls get abortions because they are pressured into it by their family or boyfriends, and that just causes more problems.

No, but they need to educate the women more on them, show them the stage of development their fetus is in.
