I have heard many stories of woman not knowing they were pregnant, then delivering a baby on the bathroom floor. I can understand not knowing right away that you were pregnant, but you have to find out eventually!!

I didn't know I was pregnant until I was already 5 months. I had a normal period, not weight gain, no morning sickness. Nothing!!
I was hit by a car, and in the ER they did a MRI and found "something in my uterus". I thought I had cancer or something. I saw my doctor and she confirmed my pregnancy. I didn't show at all until I was 7 months. I delivered a healthy 8lb baby boy on my due date.

it is possible to go through pregnancy and not realise your pregnant yes
this happens when the baby positions itself lying inline with your spin therefor you dont get a bump in this position the baby dosnt move a lot
and also woman can continue to have their periods which for most of us the warning sign of pregnancy is lack of periods
other early warning signs like vomitting and tiredness again not all us suffer
so if you had ur periods monthly no sickness no tiredness no bump would you suspect you were pregnant
no suspicious therfor no tests therfor an unknown pregnancy

A coworker of mine just experienced that. She started having extreme complications (liver shutting down) and found out that she was 6 months pregnant. Had to have an emergency C-section.
How's that for a bad week?

I just can't comprehend how someone can carry another person inside of them for 9 months and not realise it. How do you explain the absence of periods, and the feeling of the baby kicking?
I believe that people can be in denial about being pregnant and not want to beleive that they are but no I don't beleive they can be completely oblivious to being pregnant.

It is possible. I knew immediately, but I know of someone who did not know until two days before delivering. She had seen the doctor and was told she had a pulled muscle. She had even been diagnosed with bronchitis. Her periods were irregular and she had surgeries to remove cysts. She was told she could not have babies.

My mum was 28 weeks before she new about me (24 years ago), But she never had periods so she did not miss one. She did not have any symptoms and was only slowly putting on weight. It was not till she went doctors and they did a test. the next day her tummy was hugh. Sometimes i think your body can hide what you want it to.

there is but not throughout the whole pregnancy but maybe the first 3 months. A reason is so women only have there period every other month so it takes time for them to even suspect that they r.

I have heard of numerous women who have gone to the hospital for cramps and have given birth. They have no side effects, no missed periods, no illness and most of them are of the larger size and cant really physically see or tell that they are. I have seen alot of articles on it as well as tv programs. Its seems hard to believe, but it happens.

I've heard of it, but quite frankly, after having a baby, I don't know HOW this could happen! it affected every part of my body down to my toenails!
