hi-I wouldnt worry about it just yet-I felt like that this past weekend.
I've been dialated and thinned for 3 weeks now--my doctor said baby would be here before my next appt with him tomorrow--and not a thing-Im still here, lol

you should get in touch with your doctor though--he may want to bring you in for a cervix check.

when your water breaks--or contractions are 5 minutes apart for an hour is when you will know to go to the hospital.
having the bloody d/c doesnt mean a thing--you can lose your mucus plug up to 2 months before you actually go into labor and deliver the baby

I would call your doctor right away if you're worried, but it sounds like you are going into labor. Frequent BM in the last week or so, accompanied by losing your mucus plug indicate that your body is getting ready. But the pain in your abdomin and back indicate the onset of labor. Are you having any contractions? I would eat something light and small, and walk around around for a little bit. If they are braxton hicks "false labor" the pain will go away with activity. If it's the real deal the pain will get worse, closer together and last longer. Time contractions if you have them and get to the hospital when they are 7 min. apart. Also, once you're in labor the doctors won't let you eat, so I always eat something light like a sandwhich before I get there or you will be starving by the time the baby is born.

You are a little confusing near the end but if you are bleeding and it wasn't just mucus tinged with blood, you need to call your doctor. The pain you are getting when the baby pushes down is just that, he/she is pushing down on you. Labor may be coming soon but the best way to tell is when you start having regular contractions because I have had the same symptoms as you for about a week now and when I went to the Dr they said they didn't think I would be going for another 2 weeks. Good luck and congrats on the soon to be new addition!
