Im 5 weeks pregnant with my second pregnancy ( first was a miscarriage) and me and my baby's father argued all day yesterday and today. I cried so much and I want to know because this happened am I going to have a miscarriage? I havent started bleeding, and I havent been have so painful cramps. But I am having some pains in both my sides like cramping, my breast still are tender and the only time i get sick or nauseous is in the afternoon or evenings, I havent been running to the bathroom every minute though. I now have a headache out of this world but I dont know if its from crying or the pregnancy. Am I just over reacting?? What should I do?

i don't plan to have an epidural or anything for pain during my delivery...i don't like the idea of having a big needle shoved in my spine and numbing half my body...and i'm sure pain meds can't be good for the baby...my ? is....Is it very painful to deliver without meds? Are there any techniques/natural ways to minimize my discomfort? Thanks for your comments....

I have terrible fears and worries all the time. I worry about the delivery, the after, and the in between. I worry something will happen to me, to my guy, to my baby. I am truly scared that it brings me to tears. This just started this week. I dont know what to do...I just get these thoughts...I play out these things like SIDS happening, or something happening with my guys diabetes. I dont know what I would do if I lost this baby at any point or him at any point. I dont know what to do...is this normal??

I am 20 weeks pregnant.

(my husband and me we are on the trying to conceive stage ) and this month too my periods didnt come on the 28th day and today is the 31st day. I have done the pregnancy test and the result says negative. Could you please suggest what I should do? should i wait for another 2 days to test again. Is there a chance for me to be pregnant?

I am 2 months pregnant tomorrow and I havent had any nausea at all... I read that you are more likely to have a miscarriage if there is not any signs of that.

Plus, I feel slight cramping iny my stomache, my sister thats my stomache adjusting to the change but is it associated with the miscarriage.

This is my first child and I am scared! I am figuring out my doctors and stuff this week (since i just found out last wendsday) but I am still scared.

Can anyone help me?

Ever since i've become pregnant, i don't seem normal anymore. I used to go to the bathroom everyday - every other day, but now its like i'm constipated or something, cause i wont have to go for like 4 days and then i get cramps and have to go, and then its more runnyish. What can i do to make it more normal, or is it something im going to have to live with the whole pregnancy?

Considering that its fact that very short men have much harder lives than the general population (make less money, date much much less - if at all, or remain an involuntary virgin for life) - would any of you abort your MALE son if you knew that he was only going to grow up to 5'4" or shorter? Researchers in Sweden have found that short men are most at risk for suicide anyways-

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/07/13/health/webmd/main708912.shtml

I wish my father never had kids with my mother. Height is passed on through the womens side. My mother is only 5'0" and my father is 5'10" - I have to suffer my mothers genetic sins and live my life at 5'4". I'm a 23 year old Stanford psych student who has never dated and chances are I will never date due to my repulsive height. Women say that height is not important - but thats not at all true - and now I have to suffer as a 5'4" cripple.

And please, no "god" or "Jesus" answers - those concepts are rationally meaningless.

I am now 6 days late for my period and have taken a few pregnancy tests, all negative. I've never been this late before except for when I was pregnant with my daughter. I'm thinking maybe I ovulated late and am pregnant just not as far along as I think I am? If that makes any sense... I don't feel like my period is coming and I have a few pregnancy signs. My question is how soon will my doctor see me for a blood test? Is it too soon if I call them tomorrow? Thanks!

I am doing a presentation in my maternity class (I am a senior nursing student), and I want to know how other RNs or nursing students answer this question. I am almost sure that I know the answer, but I thought I might only THINK I know the answer because of my report. Hard to understand....I know.!! I only hope I make more sense when presenting this to my classmates tomorrow. I am just wondering how other professions would answer this question and WHY? thanks : D
