I am now 6 days late for my period and have taken a few pregnancy tests, all negative. I've never been this late before except for when I was pregnant with my daughter. I'm thinking maybe I ovulated late and am pregnant just not as far along as I think I am? If that makes any sense... I don't feel like my period is coming and I have a few pregnancy signs. My question is how soon will my doctor see me for a blood test? Is it too soon if I call them tomorrow? Thanks!

I called my doctor the day after my missed period. They can do a blood test. I didn't have to see my doctor for the blood test. Just had to go into the lab. Good luck

NO!

Just call and tell them your period is late. You've taken a few tests and they are negative. Some women just don't register on a test because their HCG levels haven't reached the level need to test.

Tell them your symptoms. And, if the same thing happened with your daughter tell them. Also, make sure they know you want a blood test. My obgyn always got me in as soon as I was late. :))

Hope this helps, and good luck!

when i was pregnant with my first son, i was 2 wks late when i was given one, the doctor also explaines that women are different and their hormone levels dont show up as early as som, my friend, who was still breast- feeding. was 4 months pregnant before she found out even with doctors test and blood work before the 4 month. so i would say to make an appointment if you feel different, theres a reason.

the day after your missed period. you should be able to call her in the morning, and leave a note for her to order a test for tomorrow afternoon. Most drs will do that for ya. Good luck and God bless you and your family this Christmas Season.

I don't think it is too soon. What will probably happen is you will call, and they will schedule you an appointment and tell you to let them know if you do get your period or think that you are not pregnant anymore for any reason.
