No, but I know it can happen. That's why my lover is getting a vesectomy and I'm going to try and get a tubal! No babies please. It's hard for me to get a tubal approved though since I don't have kids and I'm in my early-mid twenties, because doctors are sexist pigs! My lover can get a vesectomy so easily, but because of idiotic women who come in crying about needing a tubal reversal I can't get my tubal done yet. Gah.

I am going to get my tubes tied after this baby so I have read up on it a bit. It is 99.5% effective in preventing pregnancy. I know of 1 person who did get pregnant after wards but hers were only cut. Also she ended up miscarrying the baby. Good luck I hope this information helps.

While getting your tubes tied (I am assuming tied as opposed to ligated or removed), they are the most effective way to prevent pregnancy aside from abstinence. However, it is not 100%.

Yup! My mom got pregnant with my brother after her's were tied. I was 10 and my sister was eight. We thought she was playing another practical joke on us. :)))
Also, a coworker of my hubby's just had their fourth...after hers were tied!
BTW, hers were just tied. I think now they also laser them to make extra sure you don't get pregnant accidentally. If you think you may want one more just don't get them lasered. But, I'm not even sure with insurance cos and hmos if you even have that option. But, at least ask.

yes it happened to a coworker of mine. what happened was that her tubes grew back together over a period of 7 years. so you should probably get one of them cut shorter then the other.
